Xiaomi to sell 40,000 Redmi 1S units on September 2nd
Xiaomi reduced the price of the Redmi 1S to Rs. 5,999 and announced that it would go on sale on September 2nd. Today the company has announced that 40,000 units of Redmi 1S smartphones would be available for purchase in the first batch of sale next Tuesday. Xiaomi Mi Power Bank Review
Xiaomi entered India with the Mi 3 smartphone last month. At the launch the company showcased several products, including the Mi Power Banks that come in 5200mAh and 10400mAh variants. It is powered by quad-core Snapdragon 801 (MSM 8274AC) 28nm HPm Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.46 GHz power core and has Adreno 330 GPU. Xiaomi Mi3 sales temporarily discontinued in India
Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, took the Indian market by storm when it introduced the Mi3 here at an astonishingly low price point. The highly specced handset has become a much sought after device and was being sold exclusively through Flipkart via a unique flash sale model. Xiaomi Redmi 1S to go on sale on Flipkart starting September 2nd for Rs. 5999
Xiaomi launched the Redmi 1S, a budget smartphone in India at the Mi 3 launch event last month, today at the Delhi event the company has announced that it would go on sale at Rs. 5999 on Flipkart starting September 2nd. It would be a flash sale similar to the Mi 3, and the registrations for the sale would begin starting today, August 26th at 6PM. Xiaomi Mi In-Ear Headphones Unboxing
Xiaomi showcased its Mi in-ear headphones / earphones at the Mi 3 launched event last month. It comes in several variants, here we have the Piston 2 model that recently won the iF Design Award 2014 in Germany. The packing varies depending on the countries. In Singapore it comes in a box with IF logo, but in Malaysia, it doesn’t have the logo, like our unit that we have for unboxing. Check out the unboxing below.

Xiaomi Mi Power Banks will go on sale in India next week, Xiaomi India head Manu Jain said to IBN Live. He also said that it will directly go on sale without any registration. The official Xiaomi flip covers and the screen protector for the Mi 3 that went on pre-order earlier this week, would go on sale next week on Flipkart. These power banks were showcased at the Mi 3 launch event in India last month. These power banks recently got priced at Rs. 799 and Rs. 999 on Flipkart for the 5200mAh and 10400mAh variants respectively.
