After the live images of the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi 4 smartphone surfaced earlier this week, the smartphone has been certified by TENAA in China. The listing just has a number 2016060 without any images, but the specifications coincide with earlier leaks. It also reveals a 4000mAh battery for the smartphone along with 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the Redmi 3 and Redmi 3S phones.

Xiaomi has finally introduced Mi VR Play, its VR (Virtual Reality) headset in China. It has a zipper design so that the phone doesn’t fall out when moving the headset, uses Lycra fabric (nylon + spandex) and EVA that is lightweight, skin-friendly and doesn’t cause discomfort when using it for longer period. It can fit phones from 4.7 to 5.7 inches in size. Since it has openings on the front, you can adjust the phone if it moves and ventilation.

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 3S smartphone in India, as it had promised. It packs a 5-inch HD display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 SoC, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with MIUI 7 on top, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), resulting in a quick focus of just 0.1 second and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Today the company has sent invites for another event in China on August 1st where it will unveil a VR headset, as it had promised last month. Xiaomi has announced Mi Notebook Air, the company’s first Windows 10 laptop, along with the Redmi Pro at an event in China. It comes in 12.5-inch and 13.3-inch models with 1080p displays with 5.71mm and 5.59mm ultra-narrow borders, respectively. It has a full metal body with 135-degree opening and closing hinge. The 12.5-inch model is just 12.9mm thick and weighs 1.07kg and the 13.3-inch model is 14.8mm thick, compared to 17mm thick MacBook Air and weighs just 1.28kg.

It has a 5.5-inch 1080p OLED 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 / X25 SoC and runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has dual rear cameras, a 13-megapixel camera along with a 5-megapixel camera for achieving depth of field and real-time background blur.
