Xiaomi Mi 6X teased in more images, video ahead of tomorrow’s announcement

Xiaomi is all set to unveil its mid-range Mi 6X smartphone in China tomorrow. The company recently confirmed 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version of the phone and the box leak revealed no headphone jack and Snapdragon 660 SoC, now it has a teased the phone in Flame Red color and a in a new video commercial that highlights the features of the phone including its A.I dual rear cameras and the selfie camera.

Xiaomi Redmi S2 with 5.99-inch 18:9 display, dual rear cameras, Android 8.1 gets certified

After details of the Xiaomi S2 surfaced  in firmware files, the phone has been certified by TENAA in China as expected. It has model number M1803E6E, features a  5.99-inch HD+ 18:9 display, is powered by Snapdragon 625, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo), has a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a secondary 5-megapixel rear camera. Even though the firmware revealed it will have a 5-megapixel front camera, the certification site reveals a 16-megapixel front camera. It is said to have face unlock. Xiaomi Mi 6X 6GB RAM, 128GB storage version confirmed, retail box reveals Snapdragon 660 and no headphone jack

Xiaomi is all set to introduce the Mi 6X smartphone in a couple of days. It already confirmed 20-megapixel cameras on the front and back and also said that it will come in Blue, Pink, Red, Black and Gold colors. It also confirmed that it will have 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version, in addition to 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version. Xiaomi 10000mAh and 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i get a price hike in India

Xiaomi launched the new 10000mAh and 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i as ‘Made in India’ power banks back in November last year and the power banks were launched on Amazon.in and Flipkart last month. Today the company has increased the price of the power banks by Rs. 100, which are now available for Rs. 899 and Rs. 1599, respectively. Xiaomi Mi 6X with slim metal body in Blue, Pink, Red, Black and Gold colors teased in images and video

Yesterday Xiaomi confirmed that the Mi 6X that will be announced on April 25th will feature 20-megapixel cameras on the front and back. Today it has shared images of the smartphone in Blue, Pink, Red, Black and Gold colors. This also shows sleek metal body and a flash for the front camera.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Android 8.1 Oreo based MIUI Global Stable ROM with Treble support coming soon

Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 5 Pro in India back in February, despite launching in Feb 2018 the device runs on MIUI 9.2 on top of Android Nougat 7.1.1. The company spokesperson already confirmed the Oreo update in a tweet but didn’t share any timeline for the update roll-out. However, last month MIUI Beta ROM was leaked and surprisingly it was based on Android Oreo 8.1 along with Treble support. Xiaomi Mi 6X with 20MP front and rear cameras teased, Mi Band 3 could be announced alongside on April 25

Last week Xiaomi scheduled an event on April 25th. Now the company has confirmed that it will indeed unveil the Mi 6X at the event. It also said that it will feature 20-megapixel cameras on the front and back. The phone is rumored to feature a 20-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 8-megapixel camera.

Xiaomi’s Black Shark has introduced the Black Shark Gaming Phone in China, as it had promised. It has a 5.99-inch FHD+ display, is powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC with up to 8GB RAM, liquid cooling to keep the phone cool when gaming by reducing the CPU’s core temperature by up to 8-degree. It has a dedicated One-touch SHARK key that provides immersive gaming experience. You can use the fingerprint sensor on the front to quickly access several features such as silent mode, DND and more when gaming. There is a glowing logo on the back of the phone.

Xiaomi said to be exploring options to acquire GoPro

GoPro has been seeing a significant downfall in its market this year, a total of 36% shares were down in 2018 cutting its market capitalization to roughly $700 million. Get Android 8.1 Oreo on Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 with Pixel Experience ROM

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was amongst best selling devices launched in 2016, Xiaomi launched it running on Android Lollipop despite launching in March 2016 and later in December 2016 rolled out Android Marshmallow update. Redmi Note 3 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 Mobile Platform and devices like Sony Xperia X with the same processor received Android Oreo, even Xiaomi’s own Mi Max (SD650 variant) runs on Android Nougat but Redmi Note 3 didn’t get same treatment as Mi Max despite having similar hardware but users can still enjoy the latest android on their Redmi Note 3, thanks to the awesome custom ROM developer community. Xiaomi schedules an event on April 25 to introduce a new smartphone, Mi 6X expected

Xiaomi introduced its Mi MIX 2S smartphone in China last month. Now the has scheduled an event  on April 25th to introduced a new Mi series smartphone, which could be Mi 6X that was certified by TENAA recently. The event takes place at Wuhan University, the alma mater of the Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun in Hubei province Wuhan, China. Xiaomi Black Shark Gaming Phone surfaces in hands on video ahead of April 13 announcement

Xiaomi’s Black Shark is all set to introduce a gaming smartphone tomorrow, April 13th. Rear image of the phone already surfaced in an image, now a brief video has surfaced in China showing off both the front and back. This shows a  standard smartphone design with fingerprint sensor on the front, dual rear cameras and a glowing light on the back.

Xiaomi’s upcoming ‘Comet’ and ‘Sirius’ smartphones said to pack Snapdragon 710 (670), OLED display and Android 8.1

A couple of days ago it was reported that Xiaomi is working on two smartphones that will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670. However, a new report from XDA says that Qualcomm might be re-branding the Snapdragon 670 to Snapdragon 710 and we can now confirm that at least of the Xiaomi phone will come equipped with the Snapdragon 710.
