Samsung G9098 dual-screen Android flip phone goes official in China

Samsung has made SM-G9098, their latest Android smartphone with dual displays official on their Chinese website. It got certified in China last month and packs a 3.67-inch (320 x 480 pixels) dual Super AMOLED touch screen displays, one on the front and the the other on the inside. It is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core processor (probably Snapdragon 800), has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and leather finish on the back. Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime, Galaxy S5 Google Play edition pass Bluetooth certification

Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime (SM-G906L) has appeared on the Bluetooth SIG website and seems to have passed the Bluetooth certification. The Korean variant of the Galaxy S5 Prime (SM-G906K) appeared briefly on the official Korean website recently and another variant, SM-G906S appeared on a Hong Kong retail site few days back. Samsung bags advertising deal at London’s Heathrow airport for its Galaxy S5

Samsung has never failed to create hype around a product and the Galaxy S5 was no exception. Ahead of the launch, Samsung Galaxy S5 was expected to sport a QHD display, but things did not go as rumored and Galaxy S5 came with a 1080p Full HD display. Samsung has managed to market it very well to the people and the latest deal with Heathrow airport is an icing on the cake.

Samsung introduces Samsung App store operator billing in India

Samsung has introduced operator billing integration for its Samsung App store in India. The company has partnered with Indian operators Aircel and Vodafone in India to offer the new service for the first time for Android App store within India. The operator billing integration is available for both prepaid and postpaid customers and is available since May 1st.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S new images surface, could be announced in June

Rumors about Samsung launching new series of tablets had already surfaced online earlier this month. Today, photos of the device has been spotted recently at the FCC. The new images show the same tablet seen in the images that surfaced last week that suggests a 10.5 inch AMOLED screen.

Samsung is selling a 6000mAh battery pack with faux leather design for Rs. 3,599

Samsung is very well known for using an established design across the range of its devices. Last year in September at IFA, Samsung introduced the third iteration of their very successful Galaxy Note series in the form of Galaxy Note 3. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 marked an important step for Samsung in terms of product design as it dumped the glossy plastic back and used a faux leather finish with stitched leather design.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime (SM-G906S) appeared on a Hong Kong website recently. Now the Korean variant of the phone appeared on KT’s official olleh website briefly before it was pulled. According to recent leaks the Galaxy S5 prime would feature a 5.2-inch (2560 × 1440 pixels) WQHD AMOLED display that Samsung reportedly started producing few months back. No product launch planned by Samsung on May 28 event

Samsung had sent invites for an event on May 28th which appeared to be health-related, according to the invite’s description. However, the company will not launch any product at this event. Samsung’s VP Stefan Heuser has confirmed to Re/Code that there will be no product announcement. He did not provide any further details about the event.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Active leaked via FCC documents, comes with Galaxy S5 Specifications

Samsung has almost made it a trend of announcing a flagship early in the year and then deriving various other products from it. Last year, Samsung announced the Galaxy S4 and then followed it up with a Galaxy S4 mini and a Galaxy S4 Active variant that was water and dust resistant. Galaxy S3 and S3 Mini will not get KitKat update: Samsung

Yesterday there was a report about a list of Samsung Galaxy devices that will get latest Android KitKat 4.4.2 update by next month. The list suggested that the Non-LTE variant of the S3 will not receive the Android KiKat update. Now SamMobile has received an official confirmation from Samsung that the device will indeed not get the update due to hardware limitations.
