Samsung launched the Galaxy Alpha smartphone in India back in September. We already brought you the review of the Galaxy Alpha, here we have the camera samples from the smartphone. The Galaxy Alpha has a 12-megapixel sensor, which is completely new. It has panorama shot & more, virtual tour, dual camera and beauty face camera options.
Samsung was one of the first consumer electronics giants to dive head-first into the world of wearables with its own line of Smartwatches, starting with the Gear. Samsung has reduced the price of the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S5 LTE smartphones in India once again. The Galaxy S5 got a price cut to Rs. 37,500 few weeks back, now the smartphone is available from the Samsung India eStore for Rs. 34,900. The LTE version of the Galaxy S5 that got a price cut to Rs. 40,300 recently is now available for Rs.36,900. The Galaxy S5 was launched in April in India for Rs. 51,500 and its LTE version was launched in July for Rs. 53,500. Tired of having your smartwatch linked to your phone and waiting for the Samsung Gear S to land in the UK? The wait is almost over as Samsung have announced that the Gear S will be launching in the UK this Friday. Samsung Experience Stores and network partner O2 will both be offering the smartwatch which runs on Samsung’s own proprietary platform and is only compatible with Samsung Galaxy handsets.

The phone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at 1.19 GHz per core and has Adreno 306 GPU. This is one of the first smartphones to launch in India to feature the new budget Snapdragon chip. It has a 1.5GB RAM, 6-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Samsung SM-G7200, a new smartphone has been listed on GFXBench database. This could be the Galaxy Grand 3, successor of the successful Grand 2 smartphone since this belongs to the G7 series. The listing was first spotted by Gizmobic. Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Broadband LTE-A in Korea. It the same 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display at WQXGA resolution, powered by a Octa-Core Exynos (A15 1.9 GHz + A7 1.3 GHz) processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), but this supports Category 6 LTE Advanced support that would offer download speed of up to 225 Mbps, faster than the Cat.4 LTE that supports download speed only up to 150Mbps. Samsung is claiming that Microsoft has violated the deal between the two after it completed the Nokia acquisition earlier this year, as per the latest report from Reuters. The South Korean electronic giant is hence defending its action of not paying the royalties to Microsoft as the Nokia deal makes the software giant a direct hardware competitor.
