Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 with 10.5-inch WQXGA Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855, dual rear cameras, in-display fingerprint scanner announced

Samsung has announced the Galaxy Tab S6, successor of last year’s Galaxy Tab S4, as it had promised. It has a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED WQXGA screen, is powered by a Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 SoC and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie). It has quad-stereo speakers tuned by AKG by HARMAN, similar to the predecessor and has got rid of the Iris scanner in favor of in-display fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy  Tab S6 has an 8-megapixel primary camera along with a 5-megapixel 123-degree  Ultra Wide camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. It has a 5.7mm slim metal body.

Samsung’s Q2 2019 profits down 55.6% YoY, mobile profits down 41.5% YoY due to weak Galaxy S10 sales

Samsung has reported its earnings for Q2 2019 that ended June 30 2019, in which the company has made operating profit of 6.60 trillion won, down 55.6% YoY, as expected. This due to weakness and price declines in the memory chip market and inventory adjustments by major datacenter customers, similar to previous quarters, despite a limited recovery in demand, said Samsung. It reported revenue of 56.13 trillion won, down 4% YoY from 58.48 trillion won last year. Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and Galaxy Watch Active 2 release date confirmed

We already know that Samsung will introduce its Galaxy Note10 series on August 7th at its Unpacked event. Now the company has announced that it will introduce the Galaxy Tab S6 later today, July 31st and the Galaxy Watch Active 2 next Monday, August 5th at special pre-events.

(Long Term) Samsung Galaxy A70 Review – Maximum Media

If there’s one thing I can never forget in my long term experience with the Samsung Galaxy A70, it is One UI. Gone are the days of Touchwiz and the annoying bleep-bloop sounds. Also gone are the days of Samsung’s illogically priced mid-range phones. In 2019, a renewed focus on the Indian market has brought the world’s no.1 smartphone maker back into attention, with them belting out smartphones at a pace faster than T20 matches. There are multiple M series smartphones and several A series smartphones, apart from the flagship S and Note series. In this review, we are going to take a look at the A series smartphone that is purpose built for “Maximum Media”. The Samsung Galaxy A70, powered by a Snapdragon 675, is a great phone for media consumption and a generally great experience, especially in the long run. There are a lot of good things to talk about, like the great display, the almost full-screen design and of course, One UI, but of course, like every other phone, there are a few missteps as well. We shall discuss everything in detail, in this long term review of the Samsung Galaxy A70.

Samsung Galaxy Fold will finally roll out starting from September after design and construction improvements

Samsung introduced the Galaxy Fold at its Unpacked event back in February and said that it will go on sale in April. But it didn’t happen since people who reviewed the device reported issues with the screen and the body. Today the company has announced that it will now roll out the foldable device in September after making improvements to the design and construction. Samsung Galaxy Note10+ 5G press image surfaces

Samsung is all set to introduce the Galaxy Note10 series on August 7th. Today we have the first image of the Galaxy Note10+ 5G that will head to Verizon Wireless in the US, thanks to @evleaks. This shows triple rear cameras as the Note10 and doesn’t have the additional ToF sensor like the Note10+.

Samsung Galaxy A10e with 5.8-inch Infinity-V display, Android Pie starts rolling out

Samsung launched the Galaxy A10 smartphone in the ‘A series’ in India earlier this year. Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 with AMOLED display, 4G LTE, leather strap surfaces

Few months after the introduction of the Galaxy Watch Active at the MWC, Samsung is said to be gearing up to launch the successor, Galaxy Watch Active 2. First press render of the smartwatch shows a large AMOLED screen without the rotating bezel, microphone on the right side, between the two buttons and a leather strap. It is said to come in 44mm and 40mm sizes and also in Wi-Fi in LTE models with 237mAh and 340mAh battery, respectively.
