OnePlus 5 has received OxygenOS 4.5.5, another update just a week after the OxygenOS 4.5.3 rolled out. It even got OxygenOS 4.5.4 hot fix update that fixed 4G network issue for users in Netherlands. The latest update includes more optimizations and bug fixes, including improvements to WiFi connectivity and fixes WiFi signal consistently displayed weak, improvements in voice calling and more.  Check out the complete changelog below.

OnePlus 5 is highest revenue-grossing smartphone in the launch week on Amazon India

OnePlus launched its flagship OnePlus 5 smartphone in India on June 22nd and the phone went on early sales exclusively on Amazon.in starting at Rs. 32,999 on the same day and it went on open sale from June 27th. Today the company has announced that the smartphone has become the highest revenue-grossing smartphone in the launch week on Amazon.in. But it did not reveal the number of smartphones sold during the launch week or revenue made by selling the phone.

OnePlus 5 got OxygenOS 4.5.1 update before the launch that brought several optimizations for camera, Bluetooth stability and more, earlier this week it got OxygenOS 4.5.2 update that brought the same optimizations along with fixes for App installation issue and System update failure. Today it has rolled out the third OTA update – OxygenOS 4.5.3 that brings fixes for expanded screenshot, Google Translate, occasional WiFi drops and optimizations such as stability improvements for the system, camera and more. A big draw for the OnePlus smartphones has been the clean build of Android onboard. Called Oxygen OS, the operating system is nearly stock and devoid of most of the bloatware found on competing smartphones. The few additions included are meaningful for the most part and are well appreciated. With the OnePlus 5, once again the company has made a few more tweaks and additions that are bound to nudge the experience forward a small step ahead.

OnePlus just launched its flagship OnePlus 5 smartphone in India starting at Rs. 32,999. We already brought you the review of the smartphone, here we have the battery life test results of the phone. It packs a 3300mAh battery, slightly smaller than the 3400mAh battery on the OnePlus 3T, but it still has its Dash Charge technology for fast charging using the Dash Charger (5V-4A).  It has a 5.5-inch 1080p Optic AMOLED display, is powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with Oxygen OS. The OnePlus 5 is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 10nm Mobile Platform with that has four custom Kryo 280 Performance cores clocked at 2.46GHz per core and four smaller Efficiency Kryo 280 cores are clocked at 1.90GHz per core.
