OnePlus 6 Camera Samples

OnePlus launched its flagship  OnePlus 6 smartphone in India last week, ad the phone comes with a new camera sensor. It equips a 16-megapixel primary rear camera with f/1.7 aperture 1.22µm pixel Sony IMX519 sensor with Contrast Detection Auto-Focus, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) along with Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS), compared to Sony IMX398 sensor on the 5T, which lacked OIS. It retains the same secondary 20-megapixel secondary camera with f/1.7 aperture 1.0 µm pixel Sony IMX371 sensor as the 5T to capture depth information in portrait shots. The front-facing 16-megapixel camera with Sony IMX371 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and 1.0μm pixel size is same as the OnePlus 5 and the 5T. Continue reading “OnePlus 6 Camera Samples”

OnePlus 6 Benchmarks and Gaming Review – Snapdragon 845 with Adreno 630 GPU and 8GB RAM

OnePlus launched its flagship  OnePlus 6 smartphone in India last week. We already brought you the unboxing of the phone, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. The OnePlus 6 is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 10nm Mobile Platform with that has four custom Kryo 385 Performance cores clocked at 2.8GHz per core and four smaller Efficiency Kryo 280 cores are clocked at 1.8GHz per core and has Adreno 630 GPU,  8GB LPDDR4x RAM, but this has a larger 6.28-inch 19:9 Full HD+ Optic AMOLED display and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Oxygen OS 5.1. OnePlus 6 Review

OnePlus is one company which concentrates only on flagships instead of launching several smartphones. The Chinese handset maker finally launched this year’s flagship — the OnePlus 6, six months after the launch of OnePlus 5T. This has seen a completely new design compared to the predecessor, has a large screen with a notch, comes with a glass body, and  brings several new features such as OIS, water-resistance and more. Even though the phone looks premium and has top-end feature that most flagships have, the company is still keeping the cost low compared to others. Android P beta available for OnePlus 6 on launch day [ Update: Now available for Download]

Update: As promised OnePlus has released Android P Beta for the OnePlus 6, soon after the announcement, and before it goes on sale next week. It also warns that some functions like VoLTE and Face Unlock doesn’t work. You can download Android P ROM from here and flash manually at your own risk. You can also easily roll back to Android Oreo by flashing the ROM here.  Check out the source link below for flashing instructions. The company said that it will release device trees and kernel sources for the phone soon.

OnePlus 6 launched in India starting at Rs. 34999

OnePlus announced its flagship OnePlus 6 smartphone at an event in London yesterday, now the company has launched it in India, as it had promised. It has a 6.29-inch Optic AMOLED display with a notch, about 84% screen-to-body ratio and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with up to 8GB of RAM.  It runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with OxygenOS 5.1, and the company already promised that it will get Android P beta starting this week

OnePlus Bullets Wireless water-resistant headphones launched in India for Rs. 3990

OnePlus yesterday at its OnePlus 6 launch event in London introduced its new Bullets Wireless Bluetooth headphones with aptX technology. Today it has launched it in India. It has a magnetic resume that lets you turn it off just by attaching the headphones together and resume when  you remove it.

OnePlus 6 with 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED 19:9 display, Snapdragon 845, 8GB RAM, dual rear cameras announced starting at $529

OnePlus just announced its flagship OnePlus 6 smartphone at an event in London, as it had promised. It has a 6.29-inch Optic AMOLED display with a notch, about 84% screen-to-body ratio and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with up to 8GB of RAM. It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX519 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, OIS as well as EIS. The sensor is 19% bigger compared to the predecessor. It has the same 20-megapixel secondary camera with Sony IMX376K sensor and f/1.7 aperture, same as 5T for portrait shots and 2x zoom. Even the front camera uses the same 16-megapixel Sony IMX 371 sensor as the 5T. The company has promised portrait mode for the front camera through software update.
