OnePlus 6 and 6T OxygenOS beta update brings FPS option to Screen Recorder, stability improvements and more

OnePlus has released OxygenOS open beta update 13 for the OnePlus 6T and beta 21 for the OnePlus 6 that brings several improvements, including FPS option (15, 24 or 30 fps) to Screen Recorder that was introduced with a beta update last month.  The update also improves weather app and phone app optimizations. The company is yet to roll out DC Dimming feature for the OnePlus 6 series that was promised last month. Android Q Developer Preview 2 released for OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro

Google unveiled Android Q Beta 1 back in March, released Beta 2 in April 2019 and released Beta 3 earlier last month at I/O 2019. Many non-pixel smartphones were in the eligible list of smartphones to get Android Q Beta including OnePlus. The company released Android Q Developer Preview 1 last month and now, almost exactly after a month, the company has started rolling out Android Q Developer Preview 2 for OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro.

OnePlus launched its 7th-gen smartphone — OnePlus 7 along with its Pro version a few weeks back. In an attempt to retain the mid-range flagship position, the company launched it at a price of Rs. 32,999. OnePlus launched its flagship OnePlus 7 Pro smartphone last month starting at Rs. 48,999. The Mirror Gray Edition went on sale May 17th, 8+ 256 GB, 12 + 256GB in Nebula Blue went on sale from May 28th, now the company has announced that 8+ 256 GB Almond Edition will be available from  June 14  from Amazon.in,oneplus.in, all OnePlus exclusive offline stores, Croma, Reliance Digital and other authorized OnePlus outlets.

OnePlus 7 Pro OxygenOS 9.5.7 update brings further camera improvements

OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 9.5.7 for the OnePlus 7 Pro. The update is mainly focussed on improvements to the rear camera and the changelog includes a bunch of changes like improved overall contrast and color performance, improved white balance consistency, improved accuracy of autofocusing and more.

OnePlus 7 will go on sale in India from June 4

OnePlus launched its latest flagship smartphones, OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro earlier this month. While the OnePlus 7 Pro went on sale from May 17th at Amazon.in, OnePlus.in and other offline stores, the OnePlus 7 was not available yet. Today, OnePlus India has officially announced that OnePlus 7 smartphone will go on sale in India from June 4th on Amazon.in.

OnePlus 6 and 6T OxygenOS beta update brings Zen Mode, Screen Recorder and more

OnePlus has released OxygenOS open beta update 11 for the OnePlus 6T and beta 19 for the OnePlus 6 that brings several improvements, including Zen Mode and Screen Recorder features that were introduced with the OnePlus 7 Series that were launched earlier this month. Zen Mode that runs for 20 minutes so you can receive only emergency calls and use minimal features. The update also adds pin-to-top feature for notification in India as well as several fixes and optimizations.
