OnePlus 7 with 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, dual rear cameras surface in press image

After the OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7 has surfaced in press shots. This shows the waterdrop notch display, dual rear cameras and the alert slider on the right side, above the power button, similar to the OnePlus 6T. You can also see the small camera bump, and there are antenna bands on the sides of the phone since it has a metal frame. On the glass back, there is OnePlus logo below the flash, and also the OnePlus branding on the bottom part of the back. OnePlus 7 Pro: Display is HDR10+ certified, supports UFS 3.0 storage

OnePlus already confirmed the OnePlus 7 Pro has A+ rating from DisplayMate, and is ‘Safety for Eyes’ certified by VDE. Today the company has confirmed that it is also HDR10+ certified, providing users with a more dynamic, detailed and vivid viewing experience. It has also partnered with popular video streaming websites, YouTube and Netflix for HDR10 viewing.

OnePlus 7 / 7 Pro doesn’t have IP ratings for water resistance, but the company dunked it in water anyway — Here’s why

OnePlus has posted a video on its social channels posted a video that says “Water resistant ratings for phones cost you money.  We bought something less expensive instead.” After that, it shows the OnePlus 7 Pro dropped into a bucket that is filled with water. This shows that the OnePlus 7 series have daily water resistance, similar to the OnePlus 6 and the 6T, even though they are not IP certified.

OnePlus 3 and 3T Android Pie beta update released

After a leak, OnePlus has officially released the first Android Pie Community update for the OnePlus 3 and 3T smartphones, as it had promised last year. OnePlus 3 and 3T were launched back in 2016 running Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow). This is the third major Android update for the phones after Android Nougat in 2017 and Android Oreo update last year. The company has already guaranteed Android security updates for the phones till November 2019.

OnePlus has released new OxygenOS open beta updates for the OnePlus 6 (beta 16), 6T (beta 16), 5 (beta 30) and 5T (beta 28) that brings several improvements, including improved network speed display, support for quick reply in the notification bar in landscape mode, tutorial in shelf and more.
