HMD Global introduced Nokia 1 smartphone at the MWC 2018 as a part of Android Oreo (Go edition) program. After the Lava Z50 launch, Nokia 1 became the second Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone to launch in India back in March. The Nokia 1 comes in Warm Red and Dark Blue colors, is priced at Rs. 5,499. HMD Global launched the Nokia 7 Plus Android One smartphone in India last month, and the phone went on sale in the country last week. As we had mentioned in the review, the phone has support for 4G VoLTE in one SIM, while the other SIM supports only 3G. Earlier this week there were rumors that Nokia X or X6 will be announced on April 27th, which is today. The company after the event in Sanlitun experience store in Beijing confirmed that the phone will officially introduced on May 16th. Earlier this week it was reported that HMD Global will introduce Nokia X series smartphone in China on April 27th. Today new reports from China says that the company will introduce the Nokia X6 smartphone in the series with a 5.8-inch FHD+ display with a notch design and 19:9 aspect ratio display. The back of the phone is said to be similar to the Nokia 7 Plus with vertical dual rear camera arrangement, but the flash will be present below the camera, as revealed in the render.

HMD Global launched the Nokia 7 Plus smartphone in India earlier this month, and the pre-bookings for the phone started today. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphone, here we have the camera samples from the phone. The Nokia 7 Plus packs a 12-megapixel primary rear camera with f/1.75 aperture, 1.4µm pixel size with ZEISS optics, dual-tone LED flash along with a 13-megapixel secondary camera with telephoto lens, 1.0µm pixel size, f/2.6 aperture with ZEISS optics to capture the depth information for portrait shots and also offers 2X loss-less zoom. It also has a 16-megapixel camera on the front with f/2.0 aperture and ZEISS optics.
Nokia’s Health Division is up for sale yet again. The health division mostly consists of the assets of Withings which it acquired in 2016.
