Microsoft revenue up by 17% YoY in FY Q4 2018, productivity and business products continue to grow

Microsoft today announced FY Q4 2018 results with a total revenue of $30.1 billion that is a growth of 17% compared to the same time last year. The company’s total operating income was around $10.4 billion witnessing a growth of 35%. It reported a net income of $8.9 billion GAAP and $8.8 billion non-GAAP. Microsoft’s low-cost Surface tablet with 24W charger passes through the FCC

Microsoft is said to be working on a cheaper $400 Surface tablet and now it appears to have passed through the FCC this week. However, it doesn’t offer more details except that it will come with 24W charger from the Pro 4. The upcoming Microsoft device is said to come with a model number ‘1824 and will use a Qualcomm WiFi/BT module.
