LG Optimus G Pro specifications detailed, First device with 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor

LG unveiled the Optimus G Pro with a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS curved glass display last week. The Optimus G Pro for the Japanese market has a 5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display and 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ 8064 processor. LG has announced that the Optimus G Pro for the Korean market would come with a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm  Snapdragon 600 processor, making it the first smartphone to feature the new Qualcomm chip. LG Optimus L Series smartphone sales surpass 15 million units globally

LG has announced that they have sold over 15 million L Series smartphones, the LG Optimus L3, Optimus L5, Optimus L7 and the Optimus L9. The sales of the L Series smartphones crossed 10 million units back in December, and they have sold over 5 million units in just 2 months. LG announced the Optimus L3, L5 and L7 at the MWC 2012. LG Optimus G Pro with 5.5-inch 1080p curved glass display announced

LG has finally unveiled the Optimus G Pro that comes with a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD curved glass display with a dynamic and streamlined glass border in the front panel that would offer 2.5 D effect. It also has a glass back with digital cube patterns, similar to the Optimus G. It also has minimal bezel on the sizes that would offer a better grip. The company released the Optimus G Pro for the Japanese market last month that has a 5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display. LG Optimus L Series II Smartphones Optimus L3 II, L5 II and L7 II announced

LG has officially announced the Optimus L Series II devices, the Optimus L3 II, the Optimus L5 II and the Optimus L7 II. LG unveiled the Optimus L3, L5 and the L7 at the MWC 2012 last year and sold more than 10 million L Series devices in the first 10 months. The new L Series II has new design elements such as Seamless Layout, Laser Cut Contour, Radiant Rear Design and Smart LED Lighting on the home button. Images and specifications of the LG Optimus L7 II Dual surfaced last month, now details about the Optimus L3 II and the Optimus L5 II has surfaced online, ahead of MWC 2013. LG sends out invites for MWC 2013 Media Preview

LG just confirmed its presence at Mobile World Congress 2013 which we did hear about at CES 2013. The image says new series will be unveiled, and the tag line says ‘See what surprise LG has in store for you this time, with an unexpected distinction’. LG Vu Talk Demo

We had shown you the hands on of the LG Optimus Vu II earlier, and with the Vu II comes an interesting real-time collaboration feature that might impress you at first sight, and that is called Vu Talk. Vu Talk works between two Optimus Vu devices over a 3G or a WiFi network. It’s basically like real-time messaging but using a stylus-laden note taking app. Check out the really impressive demo of the Vu Talk in the hands on video.

LG Optimus L7 II Dual with 1 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.1 surface

LG Optimus L7 II Dual, the successor of the LG Optimus L7 has surfaced in an Russian site. It would have Dual SIM support, and a dedicated SIM switch key similar to the Optimus L3 Dual and the Optimus Net Dual. It would feature a 4.3 inch IPS display similar to Optimus L7, but replaces the 1 GHz Cortex A5 processor for a 1 GHz dual-core processor. It would run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and comes with a 8 Megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording. It would obviously have a front-facing camera. White Nexus 4 spotted in the wild

Remember the White Galaxy Nexus that went official last year, months after the release of the Black version? Now, images of the White Nexus 4 has surfaced online. The phone looks gorgeous. It has a black bezel around the display with white finish on the sides and the back, similar to the white Galaxy Nexus. The Nexus and LG branding are in black, in contrast to the black version. LG Optimus Vu II hands-on

LG showed off the Optimus Vu II, their latest phablet at the CES 2013 that already launched in Korea last year. We got some hands-on time with the device that has a 5-inch (1,024 x 768 pixels) IPS display with a 4:3 Aspect Ratio similar to the Optimus Vu. 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 processor powers the device and it runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with Optimus UI 3.0 on top. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update expected soon. It has a 1.3 Megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and a expandable memory card slot.

LG Optimus G global roll out starts this month, launching in over 50 countries

LG has announced that the Optimus G would be rolled out in over 50 countries starting this month. The LG Optimus G was announced back in August, which went on sale in Korea in September 2012, and also launched in United States, Canada and Japan last year. The LG Optimus G Pro, successor of the Optimus G was announced in Japan earlier today, but no details about the global launch for that device yet. LG Optimus G Pro announced in Japan, 5-inch 1080p display and 3000 mAh battery

NTT Docomo has announced the LG Optimus G Pro (L-04E) in their Spring lineup that comes in the docomo NEXT series. The LG Optimus G Pro first showed up in a leaked slide last week. It packs a 5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display, powered by 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ 8064 processor with Adreno 320 GPU and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).  It comes with a whopping 3,000 mAh battery.
