LG Optimus Vu coming to Verizon as LG Intuition on September 6 for $199.99

LG has released the Optimus Vu for Verizon Wireless in the USA as Intuition. It would have similar features as the Korean version including a 5-inch display with 4:3 Aspect Ratio and 650 nits brightness, 1.5 GHz Dual Core Snapdragon Processor, 4G LTE support, but would come with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) on-board. LG Optimus L9 with 1 GHz dual-core processor, 4.7-inch IPS display, Android 4.0 announced

LG has announced the Optimus L9, their new phone in the L series. It comes with a 4.7-inch IPS display and is powered by 1 GHz dual-core processor. It runs on  Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 5MP rear camera with LED Flash and a VGA front-facing camera. It has Metallic Streak around the body and has 2,150 mAh battery with SiO+ technology similar to the Optimus 4X HD. LG Optimus G with 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 4.7-inch True HD IPS+ display, Android 4.0 announced

LG has finally unveiled the Optimus G (LG-F180), their new flagship smartphone. They already revealed that it would have a Snapdragon S4 pro quad-core processor and  True HD IPS display with  G2 Touch Hybrid Display and better battery. Now, they have officially announced the device. It has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 768 pixels) True HD IPS + Display and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor.  It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and comes with a 13MP camera with an LED flash at the back and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. LG Electronics, LG Chem, LG Display & LG Innotek collaborate for next gen Smartphone

We already know that a new LG smartphone powered by the Qualcomm S4 Pro Quad-core chip is coming soon. LG even teased about it’s upcoming phone in a video. Earlier today LG has confirmed through a press release that LG Electronics and it’s sister companies LG Chem( Battery ) , LG Display (Display ) and LG Innotek (Touchscreen) are collaborating for the company’s next gen Smartphone. LG says that the upcoming smartphone will feature each company’s best technology.

LG teases quad-core smartphone with Snapdragon S4 Pro in a new video

LG Korea has posted a new video and a new teaser site for their upcoming quad-core smartphone with Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. Qualcomm announced yesterday that they would supply Snapdragon S4 Pro to LG for a new quad-core smartphone. This video doesn’t explain much, other than the CPU and GPU. From the blank spaces in the site, we can expect 5 more videos in coming weeks that might reveal details about the Camera, Display and Battery of the device. Qualcomm has announced that they would supply Snapdragon S4 Pro to LG for their new quad-core smartphones. This would also come with 3G/LTE multi-mode capabilities. LG’s latest phone Optimus 4X HD that launched recently in India and the global variant of the Optimus Vu with the Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and the Samsung Exynos 4 Quad processor in the Global variant of the Galaxy S3 lacks LTE capabilities. Multiple handset vendors make Android phones, but every year Google partners with one company to make a Nexus device. What’s a Nexus? It’s a piece of hardware that runs Android the way Google wants Android to run. No skins, no preinstalled applications, just pure Google software. The first Nexus device, appropriately called the Nexus One, was made by HTC. It launched in January 2010. Less than a year later, in December, Google announced the Samsung made Nexus S. The newest Nexus, known as the Galaxy Nexus, is also a Samsung made device. It was unveiled in October 2011 and then hit the market one month later. LG Optimus Vu with Tegra 3 quad-core processor launching globally starting from September

LG has announced that they would launch the LG Optimus Vu in global markets including Europe, Asia, Middle East/Africa and Latin America starting from September. LG announced the Optimus Vu at MWC 2012 earlier this February that packed in 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon Processor and came with LTE support. The Global version would come with Tegra 3 quad-core processor, Android 4.0 out of the box and would support 3G HSPA instead of LTE. LG LTE smartphone sales surpass 5 million units globally

LG Electronics has announced that they have sold more than 5 million LTE smartphones globally. The global shipments of Optimus LTE crossed the 1 million mark earlier this January. With the launch of new phones new smartphones such as Optimus Vu, Optimus Tag, and Optimus LTE 2 that sold more than half a million units in the first 7 days. LG crossed the 3 million mark in May and 4 million mark last month.LG has also announced that the Optimus Vu has sold more than 500,000 units since March. LG QuickMemo feature coming to entire line of Optimus L-Series smartphones globally

LG has announced that the QuickMemo feature would be available for its entire line of Optimus L-Series smartphones, the Optimus L7, L5 and L3 through a maintenance release upgrade. It is available in certain regions including India on the Optimus L5 and the Optimus L7 that runs on ICS with the Optimus UI 3.0 that launched recently, and would be available globally by the end of 3rd quarter. The app is already available for Optimus 4X HD, Optimus Vu, Optimus LTE, Optimus Tag and Optimus LTE II. LG Optimus L3 Dual E405 now available in India for Rs. 8299


LG Optimus L3 Dual E405 , Dual SIM version of the Optimus L3 that was announced in June, is now available in India from online retailer Flipkart. It has a dedicated SIM switch button similar to the Optimus Net Dual, to switch between the SIM cards quickly and has Dual standby support. Other features are similar to the single SIM version such as, 3.2-inch (320×240 pixels) display, 800MHz Processor, 3MP camera. It runs on Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread). LG Quick Voice is now ‘Q Voice’, Global English version coming in 2013

LG announced the Quick Voice, their own intelligent voice recognition app for Optimus devices last month. The company has now renamed it to Q Voice. This voice recognition app would let the users call contacts, on the address book, set alarm, set appointments on the calendar and open apps, open maps to view directions, check weather forecasts, stocks, open YouTube videos and much more using voice commands.
