LG has just announced at the LG Tech Show 2014 event that the company would launch the LG G2 4G LTE version in India mid-March 2014. LG had announced its third iteration of the budget friendly L series just prior to the MWC 2014. At the MWC 2014, LG had showcased these products and among the recently announced devices was the LG L65. LG L65 is a typical midrange offering keeping in mind the budget buyers. It comes with a layer of LG UI features over midrange specifications.
Just before the MWC 2014, LG had announced three smartphones in the LG L series – LG L40, LG L70 and LG L90. As you can see, the LG L70 is the mid-range offering among the three, in terms of features, size and pricing. At MWC 2014, LG showcased its recently announced devices and we managed to spend sometime with the LG L70 smartphone.

LG unveiled the L90, the top-end smartphone at the L Series III line-up few weeks back along with the L40 and the L70. As we promised, we are bringing you our hands-on impressions of the smartphone. One of the main reasons that Windows Phones haven’t sold as much as Android smartphones is because of the lack of manufacturers. At launch, Microsoft had only a handful of manufacturers and as Windows Phone grew, the number of manufacturers shrunk and at one point, Microsoft bought out Nokia, which was probably the only company making Windows Phones.

LG started rolling out the Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for their flagship LG G2 smartphone in Korea recently. The company has announced that it would roll out the Android 4.4 update in UK starting from mid-March 2014. The KitKat update for the G2 would bring battery-saving location mode, speed improvements for 17% percent faster performance compared to Jelly Bean, Google Cloud Print and lots more new features. LG unveiled the G Pro 2, successor of the G Pro last week. The smartphone is now on sale in Korea earlier than expected. The G Pro 2 has a 5.9-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display with slim bezel, powered by a 2.26 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat).
