LG introduced Knock Code with the LG G Pro 2 earlier this year. This is a unique feature that lets users unlock the phone via a customized “knock” pattern. This feature is present in the F Series, L Series III devices and the LG G2 mini. LG introduces Smart Bulb, lets you control it with Android and iOS devices

LG has unveiled its first Smart Bulbs ( B1030EA5L6B and B1050EA5L6B) in Korea. It has built-in Bluetooth 4.0 that lets you connect the bulb to Android (4.3 or later) and iOS (version 6.0 or higher) devices. Once connected, it lets you turn the lights on or off with a single touch, control brightness, slowly turn the lights on when you wake up in the morning and more. LG L70 Dual and L90 Dual running Android 4.4 now available in India for Rs. 14500 and Rs. 17499

LG unveiled the L Series III smartphones L40, L70 and L90 and its dual SIM variants at the MWC 2014 in Barcelona last month. The LG L90 Dual and the L70 Dual are now available in India from online retailer Snapdeal. The L70 Dual has a 4.5 inch WVGA display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. The LG L90 Dual has a 4.7-inch qHD display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. LG G2 International variant starts getting Android 4.4 KitKat now

Manufacturers are rolling out the latest Android version for their flagship and LG joins them. LG has started rolling out the Android 4.4 KitKat update for its current flagship device – LG G2. The International variant of LG G2 has started getting the update and it will eventually start rolling out to other regions.

LG’s G Watch will be Google’s first “Nexus” Smartwatch, powered by Android Wear

Close on the heels of the announcements from Google for Android Wear and Motorola’s Moto 360 Smartwatch, LG has announced that it will actually be making the first smartwatch powered by the new wearables platform. The LG G watch, as it is called, will be the first smartwatch to release to the market, powered by Google’s Android Wear platform. LG and Google have apparently worked on this device together, right from design, just like a Nexus product. The details of the LG G watch have not been revealed yet, but the availability is set to the second quarter of 2014.

Leaked LG wearable envisions a colourful alternate way to carry a stylus

LG might be working on the Google Smartwatch for all we know, but it seems like they are trying their hand at some other wearable products as well. evleaks has posted the image above, which looks to have a colourful wearable capacitive stylus that can bend. While we have no exact details for this product, it does look like an accessory at best, for the phone as well as for us. At a glance, it will look like a wrist band, but the next moment you can whip it out and start taking notes on your large screen phone. The tip of the stylus reminds us that this is definitely of the capacitive type, which means that it can work for a product like, lets say, the iPad too.

LG G Pro 2 global roll out begins starting from Asia

LG unveiled the G Pro 2, successor of the G Pro ahead of Mobile World Congress last month. It went on sale in Korea at the end of February, even before it was showcased at the MWC. The company today announced that it has started selling the smartphones in Asian markets including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Philippine, Vietnam and Indonesia. It was showcased at the LG Tech Show 2014 event in India earlier this month, but the company did not reveal the launch date of the yet. LG G3 may sport a QHD display

LG has been coming back to the Android territory rather strongly. The LG Optimus G kicked off things for the South Korean manufacturing giant as it was warmly received by people and Google thought that is how their Nexus range should look like and LG came up with LG Nexus 4 and a similar thing happened with the LG G2 as Google’s Nexus 5 takes its cues from the LG G2. LG G2 was announced sometime in August last year, but it looks like LG G3 could see a June launch giving it time before Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

LG G2 4G LTE version launched in India starting at Rs. 46000

LG has launched the 4G LTE variant of the LG G2 in India, as it promised last month. The 3G variant of the LG G2 was launched in India back in September last year starting at Rs. 41,500. The 4G variant would also have similar features as the 3G version, including a 5.2-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display at 423 ppi, 2.26 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) processor with Adreno 330 GPU and runs on Android Jelly Bean OS. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), 1080p video recording and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. LG L90 to roll out starting this week

LG unveiled the L90, the company’s top-end smartphone in the L Series III line-up last month, and showcased it at the MWC 2013 few weeks back. The company has announced that it would begin rolling out the smartphone globally starting this week. The phone has a 4.7-inch qHD screen, powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with LG’s custom UI on top.

LG announced the G Pad 8.3 tablet back in September last year. It introduced the G Pad 8.3  Google Play Edition in December, that we reviewed recently. LG has released the G Pad 8.3 LTE exclusively on Verizon Wireless in the US. Except the LTE support via SIM card slot, other features are similar to the original LG G Pad 8.3. It has a 8-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels)  full HD display, quad-core 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Android Jelly Bean OS. LG has just announced at the LG Tech Show 2014 event that the company would launch the LG G2 4G LTE version in India mid-March 2014. It would be priced at Rs. 46,000 for the 16GB variant and Rs. 49,000 for the 32GB variant. The 3G variant of the LG G2 was launched in India back in September last year starting at Rs. 41,500. LG L65 Hands on

LG had announced its third iteration of the budget friendly L series just prior to the MWC 2014. At the MWC 2014, LG had showcased these products and among the recently announced devices was the LG L65. LG L65 is a typical midrange offering keeping in mind the budget buyers. It comes with a layer of LG UI features over midrange specifications.

LG L70 Hands on

Just before the MWC 2014, LG had announced three smartphones in the LG L series – LG L40, LG L70 and LG L90. As you can see, the LG L70 is the mid-range offering among the three, in terms of features, size and pricing. At MWC 2014, LG showcased its recently announced devices and we managed to spend sometime with the LG L70 smartphone.
