Huawei Ascend W1 hands-on

Huawei unveiled the Ascend W1, the company’s first Windows Phone handset at the CES 2013 earlier this month. We got you the hands-on photo gallery of the Ascend W1 from the event earlier this month, here is the hands-on video of the device. Even though the device has a large 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA IPS display, the phone feels compact in hand. The display has OGS Technology that reduces the light consumption for a brighter and more vivid display. It has a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with Adreno 305 GPU and runs on the latest Windows Phone 8 OS.

Huawei Ascend Mate hands-on

Huawei unveiled the Ascend Mate at the CES 2013 earlier this month. We got you the hands-on photo gallery of the Ascend Mate from the event earlier this month, here is the hands-on video of the device. The phone is huge in the hand and features a 6.1-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla glass protection. It features magic touch technology that would let you use the phone even with gloves. Huwaei’s own 1.5 GHz quad-core Hi-Silicon K3V2 processor powers the smartphone, and it runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei’s EmotionUI 1.5 on top.

Huawei Ascend G600 now available in India for Rs. 14990


Huawei Ascend G600 is now available in India from online retailer Snapdeal. The Ascend G600 was announced in August last year, and packs a  4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) IPS capactive touch screen display with 178 degree viewing angle, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 8MP auto focus camera with BSI sensor for better low-light imaging, Dual LED Flash and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. It also has Dual DTS SRS Speakers for better audio output. Huawei unveils UltraStick E3331 world’s smallest 3G Data Card

Huawei has unveiled UltraStick E3331, the world’s smallest 3G data card at the CES 2013. Huawei’s latest data card is pretty thin at 7mm, measures 67.5 mm long and 25.5 mm wide. This data card beats its predecessor, Huawei E369, that held the position of the world’s smallest data card that was 8mm thick. The UltraStick E3331 might be the smallest 3G data card, but the Option XYFI that launched last year at MWC 2012 is still the world’s smallest 3G Wi-Fi hotspot. Huawei has finally announced the Ascend W1, the company’s first Windows Phone 8 device. This has a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA IPS LCD display with OGS Technology that reduces the light consumption to make the screen brighter and more vivid, 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with Adreno 305 GPU. It has a 5 MP auto focus camera at the back with LED flash and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. It has a 1950 mAh battery with unique power saving technology to save 30% of power. The Ascend Mate has a 6.1-inch 720p display unlike the Ascend D2 that has a 5-inch 1080p display. But the Ascend Mate has a 1.5 GHz quad-core Hi-Silicon K3V2 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) similar to the D2. Huawei Ascend Mate with 6.1 inch 1080p screen spotted ahead of CES launch

Expected to be unveiled at CES in January, Huawei’s newest smartphone was shown off by Richard Yu. The Chairman of devices at Huawei flaunted the device at a store in Guangzhou yesterday. Called the Ascend Mate, the Android powered smartphone has a massive 6.1 inch 1080p screen with 361ppi.

Huawei to unveil Ascend D2 with 5-inch 1080p display and Ascend W1 at CES 2013

Richard Yu, Senior Vice President of Huwaei has confirmed that the company would unveil the Ascend D2 Android Smartphone with a 5-inch 1080p (1920 × 1080 pixels) display and Ascend W1 Windows Phone 8 device at CES 2013. The Ascend D2 would be the successor of the Ascend D1 that was announced at MWC 2012. The Ascend W1 would be the company’s first Windows Phone 8 device. Huawei working on 6.1 inch smartphone, to be more powerful than the Galaxy Note 2

Speaking on the Chinese social network, Weibo, Huawei Senior Vice President Yu Chengdong confirmed that Huawei is working on a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 competitor. The phone which has been rumored for a while is expected to ship with an absolutely massive 6.1 inch full HD display. The phone has been rumored to be called the Ascend Mate.

Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite officially launched in India for Rs. 13,700, MediaPad 10 FHD available in December

Huawei has officially launched the MediaPad 7 Lite, their new 7-inch Android tablet with 3G and voice calling facilities. It was announced earlier this August and went on sale in India online at the end of October. Huawei has also announced that the MediaPad 10 FHD that was announced back in February would be available in India in December. The MediaPad 7 Lite has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) IPS multi-touch display and is powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor. It has 3G support with voice calling, SMS and MMS. The MediaPad 10 FHD has a 10.1-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.5 GHz K3 quad-core processor. Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite that was announced back is August is now available in India from online retailer Flipkart. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) IPS multi-touch display and is powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and 3G support with voice calling, SMS and MMS. It has a 3.2 Megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera for video calling.  It also has 1080p HD video playback at 30 frames per second.
