HTC announced the Desire SV Dual-SIM Android phone exclusively for markets like India at an event in Singapore. We got a hands-on with the device at the launch event. The HTC Desire SV has a 4.3 inch (480 x 800) pixels capacitive touch screen display and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. HTC 8X and 8S Windows Phone 8 devices launching in India next week

HTC has announced on the their Facebook page that they would launch the Windows Phone 8 devices in India next week.  HTC announced the 8X and 8S Windows Phone 8 devices in September, and the phones were in coming soon list in HTC India page since then. These devices are powered by a dual-core processor Snapdragon S4 processor. Nokia would also launch their Windows Phone 8 devices, Lumia 920 and 820 in India in November. HTC starts pushing out Android 4.1 to the One X in Europe and Asia

HTC’s 2012 flagship device, the quad core One X, is now getting upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean according to reports from Android and Me. The updates weighs in at just over 350 MB, so you’re going to want to make sure you’re connected to a high speed WiFi network. Besides Android 4.1, there’s also the latest version of Sense, which comes with an “infinite” number of home screens, the ability to password protect your SMS inbox, and small tweaks here and there that allegedly make the device 10% faster. HTC J Butterfly launched with 5 inch 1080p display on Japan’s KDDI network

The long rumored HTC phablet was today launched at an event in Japan in the form of the HTC J Butterfly. Launched in partnership with Japan’s KDDI network, the Android Jellybean based smartphone packs in a 5 inch Super LCD 3 screen with Full HD resolution.

HTC Desire X officially launched in India for Rs. 19799


HTC has officially launched the Desire X, their new Android smartphone that is powered by an 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor. It was announced in August, and went on sale in India last week. It has a 4.0-inch (800 X 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 5MP auto focus camera at the back with a f/2.0, 28mm wide angle lens, BSI sensor and and LED flash for better low-light imaging . HTC One S and Desire V get a price cut in India

HTC has reduced the price of the One S and Desire V, which are now available for Rs. 25,900 and Rs. 16,999 in India. HTC One S was officially launched in India in June, but it got a price cut in August from Rs. 33,590 to Rs. 28,900. The HTC desire V went on sale in India for Rs. 21,999 in June. HTC Desire X is now available in India from online retailer Snapdeal. HTC announced the Desire X in August and it comes with a 4.0-inch (800 X 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and is powered by 1 GHz Dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with HTC Sense 4.0 UI and has a 5MP auto focus camera at the back with LED Flash. HTC opens its first ‘concept store’ in Delhi

HTC yesterday opened its first concept store in South Extension, New Delhi in India to show off its top of the line handsets. The store places an emphasis on HTC’s audio and imaging capabilities by providing two distinct sections in the store.

Rumor: The HTC DLX will be the first 1080p smartphone on the market

Twitter user @Football4PDA has leaked several devices in the past, such as the HTC One X+, and he’s proven to be a reliable source of information. His latest tweet says HTC is going to announce a new phone called DLX. It’s highlight feature will be a 5 inch 1080p display. Under the hood there’s supposed to be a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4, and on the back of the device there should be a 12 megapixel camera. HTC Q3 net profits slip 79 percent

HTC announced today that its third quarter profits declined by 79 percent and missed forecasts. The reasoning given is that its flagship devices haven’t been able to match the Apple iPhone and Samsung’s Galaxy series of smartphones. Its July-September net profit was reported at T$ 3.9 billion down from T$18.68 billion in the same quarter last year.

HTC One X+ gets priced in UK, coming on October 22


HTC announced the One X+, and upgraded version of the One X with a  4.7 inch (1280 x 720 pixels) Super LCD HD display and 1.7 GHz quad-core Ap37 Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor. UK’s online retailer Clove UK has announced that it is now available for pre-order with them, and it would start shipping on October 22nd. The One X+ comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS with HTC Sense 4+ UI and has Beats audio support. It is 8.9mm thick and weighs 135g. Android Jelly Bean with Sense 4+ coming to the HTC One X and One S starting this month


Android Jelly Bean, the latest and greatest Android that has been running on all the Nexuses of this world, has been slowly trickling down to other OEM Android devices for the past few months. We saw it getting listed by Samsung for the Galaxy S3, and it was widely rumored to arrive for HTC’s flagships – the HTC One X and the HTC One S. But now, it has been confirmed along with the launch of HTC’s new phone – the HTC One X+.

HTC One X+ with 1.7 GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, Android Jelly Bean announced

 

HTC has announced the One X+, an upgraded version of the One X that was unveiled at MWC 2012 earlier this year. The 4.7 inch (1280 x 720 pixels) Super LCD HD display and the 8MP auto focus camera with BIS sensor are similar to the One X but the Processor, Memory, Battery and front-facing camera has been upgraded. The One X+ has a 1.7 GHz quad-core Ap37 Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor and a better GeForce graphics, instead of 1.5 GHz AP33 Nvidia Tegra 3  quad-core processor. It has a 1.6MP front-facing camera, 64GB of internal memory and 2100 mAh battery. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 4+ UI on top.
