Twitter and Facebook for Blackberry updated to v2.0 (Beta)

RIM has launched the new beta version of Twitter and Facebook for Blackberry version 2.0 in the Beta Zone. Stable version of Twitter for Blackberry app was updated to v1.1 recently, had new features like geo location and push notifications. This version includes new features like combined search results and new nav bar in twitter. Facebook app now supports Blackberry 5.0 devices and includes new features and performance enhancements. Vodafone and Three UK to launch BlackBerry Bold 9900 in UK

RIM officially announced their new addition to BlackBerry Bold series which is known as the BlackBerry Bold 9900. BlackBerry Playbook finally getting Native Email , Calendar and Contacts this Summer

RIM just officially announced that the PlayBook is finally getting Native Email. This was one of the most criticized features of the device and RIM was blamed for ignoring this feature at the time of launch 2 weeks ago. As expected RIM gave an answer today at Blackberry World that the device is getting an update this summer which will bring native email , calendar and contacts. As of now , you need to use Blackberry Bridge and connect to a Blackberry handset via Bluetooth to get access to email on the device. Angry Birds for Blackberry Playbook Coming this Summer

Today at the Blackberry World RIM announced that the famous Angry Birds game is releasing for the Blackberry Playbook this summer. Birds is a physics based game where you need to attack the pigs using the different kinds of birds. RIM announces today that the QNX version of Angry Birds is getting ready and will be available in BlackBerry App World for download this summer. BlackBerry Bold 9900 Hands On – Video

Here is a nice 6 minute video of the BlackBerry Bold 9900 which was launched today at BlackBerry World . We take a look at the hardware , UI and other interesting aspects of the latest Blackberry device. This handset is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor and runs on OS7. I personally prefer this form-factor compared to the Torch which has a slider keyboard.

The BlackBerry Bold 9900 was announced just today at BlackBerry World and here are some hands-on photos of the device live from Orlando. We got to play with the device and it looked pretty nice in the hands. The form factor looks impressive with the combination of a touchscreen and the usual QWERTY keypad. Hello from Frankfurt , next stop BlackBerry World !

Just got off my flight from India to Frankfurt as I head to Orlando for BlackBerry World which is Research In Motion’s annual event to showcase it’s latest offerings. Until last year it was called WES and now it has been merged into BlackBerry World. Lets see what RIM has got to show at the event !

We believe we might get intimate time with the latest Blackberries and the Playbook.

Blackberry Bold Touch appears on RIM’s site

RIM has accidentally revealed the details of Blackberry Bold Touch on their official site ahead the launch of the device in Blackberry World next week. The phone is just called Blackberry Bold which was Previously known as Blackberry Bold Touch Dakota. This comes with the new Blackberry 7 OS, Fluid Graphic touch screen and a QWERTY keyboard. BlackBerry Monza hitting T-Mobile USA in June?

Earlier this month, we saw the first leaked shots of Blackberry Monza which is a touchscreen phone and comes with some good features. Few days ago, spec sheet of Monza was leaked in which we saw that the device comes with some good features. We heard that it will hit Verizon Wireless in USA, but now it looks like it will also hit T-Mobile USA. Our friends over at Tmo-News reporting that BlackBerry Monza will hit T-Mobile on June 29th, which is still a month away. BlackBerry Playbook already received 2 firmware updates since launch

The BlackBerry Tablet aka the Playbook went on sale last week in U.S.A and initial sales have been estimated at around 50000 units on day one. Most initial reviews liked the hardware and UI but complained about the lack of native email and messaging.
