After launching on iOS and Andorid, Uber has parked its car at the Windows Phone Store. The popular on demand car service has officially announced the release of Windows Phone. Prior to this, Uber users had to access the service via its mobile site. The Uber Windows Phone app is mostly similar to its iOS and Android counterpart barring few Microsoft Metro UI redesign.

Earlier this month Gameloft announced that the Modern Combat 5: Blackout would launch on Android, iPhone and iPad on July 24th. Recently Gameloft has announced that the game would also launch on Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 this Thursday. Gameloft launched 16 games for Windows Phone 8 last year and would bring all upcoming HD titles to Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 platforms immediately after they launch. Google has started rolling out Material Design UI to Play Store. The version 4.9.13. of the Google Play Store on Android now gets Material Design inspired overhaul which gives app, game, and other listings a revamp. The update comes a week after screenshots of the Play Store redesign were leaked.

Google will stop labelling games with in app purchases as free. The move comes from the company after pressure from the EU. Starting in late September, games will no longer be termed as free if they include in-app purchases and that it will also require payment verification before each purchase.
