WhatsApp Web finally available for iPhone

WhatsApp introduced web client for Android earlier this year. Later it was expanded to other platforms. WhatsApp Web has finally started rolling out for iPhone users. It was noted by a reddit user. It is available through a server-side update, so it will be pushed out automatically if you don’t have it yet. You can go to WhatsApp settings in the iPhone app, select WhatsApp web and scan the QR code that you get when you visit web.whatsapp.com from the desktop. Whatsapp comes to PC via the browser, no support for the iPhone app yet

Whatsapp, the world’s most popular instant messaging platform, now comes to the PC, via the web browser route. The web client, which currently works only on Google’s Chrome, will let you chat with your friends right from the comforts of a browser, a long standing request finally fulfilled by the company. The functionality currently works on the updated version of Whatsapp on Android, Windows Phone and Blackberry devices, while iPhones are not getting the feature due to “platform limitations”, according to Whatsapp chief Jan Koum.
