Microsoft has updated Outlook.com for Android with several features. The app now syncs email history and adds the ability to access them in the cloud. The update also adds unlimited syncing of emails and these can be checked even when a user is offline.

Apple is all set to acquire radio service Swell for $30 million, according to report from Re/Code. The iOS app will shut down its service and CEO Ram Ramkumar along with other members will join Apple, a result of the acquisition, added the report.

BBM for Windows Phone to be available for all next week

BlackBerry has announced that it would release the BBM app for Windows Phone to general public next week. The BBM beta app for the Windows Phone platform got 10,000 signups within 24 hours after the registrations began earlier this month, says BlackBerry. BBM app for the beta testers went live in the Windows Phone Store last week. The Windows Phone version has BBM features such as Feeds, Contacts and Chat.
