Sony releases Android 4.0 beta ROM for Xperia PLAY

Sony Mobile has released  Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) beta ROM for unlocked Xperia PLAY smartphones. They released ICS beta ROM for Xperia arc S, Xperia neo V and Xperia ray last month. They have also announced they work close with several game partners to optimize the games to run on the latest Android 4.0 software. iBall Andi 2 Dual SIM Android phone launched for Rs. 9999

 

iBall has launched Andi 2, Dual SIM Android phone with Dual Standby which is the successor of Andi. It has 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display and runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo). It is powered by  800MHz processor and has 3MP rear camera and VGA front camera. Even though this phone has faster processor, it would face a tough competition with other Dual SIM Android phones, Spice Mi-350n,  Micromax A75 and Micromax A73 that are cheaper and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS. Android 4.0.4 update starts rolling out for Nexus S and HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus

Google has announced on their Android Google+ page that they have started rolling out Android 4.0.4 update for UMTS / GSM Nexus S (I9020), HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus (I9250) and Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi in select regions. Some users might receive the it for the first time, and others who are on Android 4.0.3 would receive it as an update that is around 17MB. Samsung Galaxy Note LTE announced in Japan, coming to NTT Docomo on April 6

Samsung and NTT docomo has announced LTE-enabled Samsung GALAXY Note SC-05D in Japan in their Docomo NEXT series. Samsung launched the Galaxy Note last October that has reached 5 million shipments globally. It has 5.3-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display , 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), 8 megapixel AF camera with flash, Full HD (1080p) video recording and playback, 2 megapixel front-facing camera for video calls. Samsung Galaxy Beam is now available for pre-order in UK from online retailer Clove. Samsung announced the Galaxy Beam, successor of their previous Beam, last month. It has 4.0-inch 480×800 (WVGA) TFT display and is powered by 1 GHz Dual-Core Processor. Zoho launches Docs and CRM apps for Android

Zoho has launched their Zoho Docs app for Android to take on Google Docs. They have also launched the Zoho CRM app for Android. The Zoho Docs an online document management application that lets you access documents on the web similar to Google Docs. NTT Docomo announces Android 4.0 update for 18 devices, to roll out starting July 2012

NTT Docomo has announced the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update for 18 devices in their docomo with series, docomo NEXT series and docomo tablets. Some of these devices were announce in May and October 2012. The Xperia Acro and NX SO-02D were announced this January. HTC to shut down cloud services, asks users to download stored data

HTC has many new plans this year, one of their plan is to concentrate on less devices and make their Sense platform better, just a while back HTC Sense customers received a mail saying that their cloud services like Contacts, messages, Footprints and call history will be shut down and made offline. The heading says that they are not actually shutting the service down but renovating their cloud service or HTCSense.com.
