Google has started rolling out Android 4.4.4 KitKat (KTU84P) update for the Nexus devices and also released factory images for these devices including Nexus 5, Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. Google is planning to add a kill switch option to the next version of Android according to reports. The feature lets users safeguard their smartphones owing to thefts. It enables users with stolen devices to report their device as missing and disable it from being used without specific credentials in an incident of theft. Microsoft is also joining Google to add the kill switch option to Windows Phone. Both the companies have signed an agreement with the New York Attorney General for the same.

It packs 1GB RAM, runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) based Color OS and has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display. It has a 3.5-inch HVGA display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 3.2-megapixel rear camera without flash. It has dual SIM support with dual standby, similar to other Idea phones and also comes with 3G connectivity.
