MHL introduced MHL 3.0 with support for 4K last year. Now it has introduced an MHL Alternate Mode (Alt Mode) for the USB Type-C specification. Now a USB Type-C reversible connector can support the MHL 3 specification, which includes 4K video, ability to control your phone using the TV remote, and lossless surround sound audio. Mobile devices with USB Type-C MHL Alt Mode can also connect to HDMI legacy displays using adapters that support MHL-to-HDMI protocol conversion.

LG has launched Tone Infinim (HBS-900), premium Bluetooth stereo headset developed in collaboration with Harman/Kardon in India. It was unveiled back in March, has a stylish design that is almost similar to previous Tone series headsets from LG, but this has a glossy metallic finish. Jawbone has announced UP3, a multi-sensor top-end fitness tracker and UP MOVE, a compact entry-level fitness tracker. The Jawbone UP MOVE is a Clip on that has an LED display that can track your steps and your sleep. The Jawbone UP3 has several sensors, including a Heart Health Sensor that measures resting heart rate. It has a water-resistant design and promises a week of battery life.
