Apple had introduced the 5th generation of the Apple Watch earlier this month and it is going on sale in India today. We managed to get our hands on the 44mm  Cellular version of the Apple Watch Series 5. Here are my first impressions after using the watch for the past few days.

Apple to roll out iOS 12, Watch OS 5 on September 17, macOS Mojave available starting September 24th

Apple has concluded the ‘Gather Around’ event after announcing the new iPhones, Apple Watch. Apart from these, the company has also announced the rollout schedule for the iOS 12, HomePod and tvOS 12 with Atmos and Watch OS and macOS Mojave which it introduced at WWDC. The rollout of the iOS 12 will start from September 17th, while the macOS Mojave will commence from September 24th. Worldwide smartwatch shipments to hit 43.5 million in 2018 with 34.8% market share: IDC

The worldwide wearables market forecasts an estimate of 124.9 million units by the end of 2018, which is an 8.2% increase from the same time last year. Though the growth is slightly lower than the 10.3% growth experienced in 2017, the market is expected to return to double-digit growth from 2019 until 2022 as smartwatches and other form factors grow according to International Data Corporation (IDC). Apple announces watchOS 3 update roll out for September 13th

In June, at the WWDC event, Apple previewed the watchOS 3. Today at the Keynote event, Apple has officially announced the watchOS 3 update alongside the Apple Watch series 2. The latest version of the watchOS 3 is faster and brings improvements to activity tracking and sharing and a major UI overhaul. The watchOS 3 update will go live on September 13.
