If the “Next big thing” ads weren’t clearer, Samsung has always wanted its Galaxy S to be an iPhone. Premium, desirable and something people aspire to buy. The Galaxy S series was aspirational indeed, and was often ahead of the iPhone in many departments, except for the ones related to “premium”. The metal-lovers we all are, kept complaining about “premium” for more than 3 years, so Samsung has now finally delivered a phone that can, not only tick a box in all departments, but also deliver.. the Galaxy S6. This review, however, is of its more aesthetically pleasing variant, the Galaxy S6 Edge, which is almost exactly the same as the S6, but the dual-curve edge screen will cost you substantially more. Samsung Gear A – Round smartwatch delayed till IFA 2015
We had told you that Samsung is working on a round smartwatch and that it is roping in artists and fashion brands to help develop accessories for it. The smartwatch that is supposedly called the Gear A was sheduled for an announcement in the near future. But it has now apparently been delayed and is expected to be announced later this year during IFA 2015.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge apparently having 8 bit display colour issues
Apparently the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge at times is displaying colour in 8 bit, sort of like a watercolor painting for some users. The issue is not there all the time, happens only quite rarely and has only been spotted on a few units of the Galaxy S6 Edge so far.

Samsung set to release Iron Man Edition Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge
Last month we saw an artists rendering of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge in various Avenger character themed colours. At the time we weren’t sure whether Samsung had plans to release them as they didn’t comment on the same. Samsung Tizen App Store goes global
Samsung is bringing its Tizen App store to more countries across the globe, as per a latest report from the Wall Street Journal. Currently, Tizen OS based smartphones are only available in India and Banglasdesh but the app store is now expanding to 182 including the US, the UK and China.

Xiaomi retains top market share in China
