Samsung, after several months of in-depth investigations today announced the cause of the Galaxy Note7 incidents, as it had promised. “Based on detailed analysis of the affected batteries, both Battery A from the 1st recall and Battery B from the 2nd recall, we identified separate factors that originated in and were specific to the two different batteries.” said  Samsung. Samsung just launched the Galaxy Note7, its flagship Note series smartphone in India, as it had promised. It was unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked 2016 event in New York last week, packs a a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED curved edge display with always-on feature, is powered by a Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 12-megapixel Dual pixel rear camera with LED flash, OIS and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

It has a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) Super AMOLED curved edge display with always-on feature. It is powered by a Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor depending on the market, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, OIS and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Even though the invite just says to block the date, it also says that Samsung’s next flagship will be unveiled at the event. This will likely be the Samsung Galaxy Note7 that will be introduced at an event in New York later today at 8:30 PM IST. It will also be streamed live in 360-degrees. Press shots of the phone Black Onyx, Silver Titanium and Blue Coral colors surfaced earlier this month, now new Gold colored variant of the phone has surfaced on a Korean site.
