TRAI seeks views to regulate OTT apps like WhatsApp, Skype and more

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has determined to sort views on whether to regular communication apps such as WhatsApp, Skype, and Viber. This comes to light mainly because of economic and security matters. In a paper released Monday, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India asked views of the industry to identify which of these apps should be regarded as providing the same services like mobile phone operators. Apple iPhone XR lifecycle shipment estimates down by 30 Million: Kuo

In the latest research note, Ming-Chi Kuo has cut his shipping estimates for the iPhone XR due to several factors. This might the result of the higher demand for the iPhone XS and the older models. He is reducing his iPhone shipment forecasts by 15–20% for the first quarter of 2019. This news falls in line with reports of Apple canceling additional production of iPhone XR owing to poor reception.

The XMM 8160 5G will support peak speeds up to 6 gigabits per second, making it three to six times faster than the latest LTE modems. Microsoft has announced that it has agreed to acquire two new game development studios; Obsidian Entertainment and inXile Entertainment. Obsidian Entertainment was founded in 2003 by industry veterans from Black Isle Studios, led by Feargus Urquhart. As for inXile Entertainment, it is a team of industry veterans with decades of PC and RPG expertise.
