Time and time again, the Moto G series has proven itself to be the king of the hill when it comes to high quality budget smartphones. Announced at the Mobile World Congress earlier this month, the phones have already made their way to India which is not particularly surprising. The devices have found a lot of success and have given stiff competition to the likes of Xiaomi’s Redmi series. Lenovo won’t discontinue the Moto E or Moto G

After reports about Lenovo planning to shift focus of the Moto lineup to higher end smartphones and the statement that said that all Moto smartphones in 2016 will come with fingerprint sensors, many felt that they would be cancelling off the Moto E or perhaps the Moto G as well.

Motorola officially re-enters China, launches three smartphones

Motorola has officially re-entered China by launching Moto X, Moto X Pro and Moto G with 4G LTE. The company would begin taking pre-orders for the second-gen Moto G and the 2014 flagship Moto X in China, and showed off the Moto X Pro (basically a de-branded Nexus 6).

Motorola releases Kernel Source Codes for Moto X(2014) and Moto G(2014)

Motorola has published the Android 4.4.4 KitKat build Kernel Source Code for Moto X(2014) and Moto(2014), according to Android Police. The initial kernel source code for Motorola Moto X (2014) is codenamed ‘Victara’, while that of the Moto G (2014)  is dubbed ‘Titan’.
