Motorola launched the new Moto G in India earlier this month for Rs 12,999. We have already seen the review of the smartphone.  Now we are bringing you comparison gallery of the New Moto G and original Moto G that was launched last year.

The New Moto G sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display while the original Moto G comes with 4.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display. Both the phones come with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Both the phones are powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB RAM. The New Moto G has  16GB internal memory, expandable memory with microSD while the original Moto G 1GB RAM, 8GB/16GB internal memory without expandable memory.

The new Moto G comes with 2MP front-facing camera while the original one comes with 1.3MP front-facing camera.

The New Moto G has 8MP camera with LED flash, 720p HD video recording at 30fps while the original Moto G has 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 720p HD video recording at 30fps.

The 3.5 audio jack is present at the top of both the phones.

While the micro USB port is situated at the bottom of both the devices.

Volume rockers are present on the right side of the both the phones. The New Moto G is 10.9 thick and weighs 149 grams while the original Moto G measures about 11.6 mm thick with curved sides and weighs 143 grams.

The new Moto G runs on Android KitKat 4.4 while the original shipped with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. However, it later received an update to KitKat 4.4. The new Moto G has dual front-facing speakers, but the Moto G has only one speaker on the back.

The new Moto G Dual comes in black and white colors and is priced at Rs. 12999 for the 16GB version while the original Moto G is no more available for sale.
