It was a good day for HTC this monday at Mobile World Congress, with the introduction of the One series of flagship devices. The HTC One S, this ultra-slim, 7,8mm Android device is the little brother of the One X, but that doesn’t mean Android fans will be getting less bang for their buck.
AT&T has announced that the HTC One X would be available soon. This would be AT&T’s first smartphone with built-in Beats By Dr. Dre Audio and one of the first phones in the U.S. to feature HTC Sense 4. T-Mobile has announced that HTC One S would be available by Spring. It has sleek aluminum unibody design and would come with 4G LTE support. So with Huawei MWC conference will be starting in just about an hour but their in news already with someone spotting the Huawei Ascend D quad poster at the Barcelona airport. What’s interesting is that below the device, it carries the tagline “World’s fastest phone”. Wow, I think that is a bit too much, because we will also be having the HTC and the Sony conference today so I think yes, it might be the fastest smartphone for about 3-4 hours.

ITProPortal.com have managed to get their hands on the upcoming HTC One S which is expected to be unveiled today at MWC. Previously known as the HTC Ville , the One S is a mid range handset with a 4.3″ screen , 8MP camera.
HTC plans to use a microSIM with the handset. The specifications for the handset have been previously leaked and include a dual core1.5GHz chipset, with Dr Dre Beats Audio technology on-board and HTC Sense 4.0 UI on top of Android 4.0 .

PocketNow have got their hands on a press shot of the upcoming HTC One X. The handset which is said to be the next HTC flagship device is believed to be equipped with a quad core processor , 720p 4.7″ screen.
HTC is going to be one of the headliners to showcase their devices at MWC this year, they will be showcasing the HTC One series of mobile phones and maybe a couple tablets too. We already know about the HTC One X which will be the first quadcore phone running on Tegra 3. There was no news about the other two One S and One V but now due to some benchmarking done in Nenamark we have come to know some specs of the One S.
People have been talking about nVIDIA and Tegra 3 from the beginning of this year, last year they were the first chip manufacturers to bring out dual core chips and now this year they are again the first ones to bring out Quadcores. Though the vision and the chipset architecture is really great there have been some problems in nVIDIA’s camp and we have come to know that there is a shortage and it will affect nVIDA in a big way.
We have all been hearing about the super phone from HTC called Endeavor which is going to be showcased at MWC this year, well the specs of this device seems to be leaked by the guys at MoDaCo, and you will not be disappointed!

Android 4.0 was a major upgrade from all the Android versions and all the users are looking forward to take a bite at it, the only problem is that the manufacturers are taking too long to cook Android 4.0 for these devices. But HTC is finally showing signs of upgrading some of the devices pretty soon, just like Sony Ericsson provided a peek of Android 4.0 for some of it’s device a few months back HTC will be providing the Android 4.0 update as a preview for all the Sensation and Sesation XE users in the Europe.
So HTC has planned this so that while everyone is waiting for the final dish to arrive, there will be something to play with and satisfy the customers, though it will not be completely baked. But there is a sad part too, you will not be able to directly download and apply this update, it will be first used by the people in the elevate beta program and the T-Mobile subscribers excluding the Sensation 4G. Well there is no need for all the people outside Europe to be angry, because as soon as this update goes live it will be available for all you guys to flash. So this is a good sign from HTC to fulfilling their customers needs, after all the customers should be treated as Gods. 🙂
