Google has released its monthly Android distribution update for the month of September. The latest numbers reveal that Android Lollipop is now present on 21% of all Android devices. This is up from 18.1% since last month and 10% in May.

Google has for the most part kept its distance from China, a market that has perhaps one of the largest user base of Android running devices. At the Lenovo event last night in Berlin, we were able to go hands on with one of the new Moto X smartphones – the Moto X Play. The Moto X Play is a device with lesser power as compared to the Moto X Style but it comes with a 21 Megapixel camera sensor as well as a beefy 3630 mAH battery.
