Apple is bringing quite a few new features to its Apple TV this fall with updated tvOS. The company at WWDC 2016 announced that the last generation of Apple TV had 80 video channels and now it has over 1300 video channels. Apple has released tvOS 9.2 update with a number of features and improvements. One of the many key additions to the update is the Siri Remote is getting voice dictations which will allow users to speak in order to search the App Store or enter your passwords instead of using the remote.
With the launch of the new Apple TV, customers have access to the App Store through their Television. Facebook wants to make use of that by providing an SDK for tvOS that will allow developers to build social experiences on the platform.
Last month, it was reported that Periscope was working on an Apple TV app. Now, the popular streaming service has launched the Apple TV app that will let you experience live broadcasts on your TV.

Apple’s special event in San Francisco saw the unveiling of the company’s newest Apple TV. The latest model gets a hardware refresh and is now being powered by Apple A8 chip.

You have to hand it to Apple. With the intense media rumors that start building up before a traditional Apple device update period, even down to predictions around the date and timing of the event, Apple’s got a problem most product managers would give an arm and a leg to have. And what does the Cupertino-based outfit do?
