Airtel launches international roaming packs with free incoming calls, up to 3GB data

Airtel has launched new Smart Packs for international roaming that offers unlimited free incoming calls, free callback minutes to India, up to 3GB of free data and more. Airtel corporate post-paid customers can now use pre-paid data packs

Airtel has introduced Prepaid on Postpaid plan for its corporate customers. Since some companies don’t allow or limits the use of mobile data under corporate plans, Airtel is now allowing those corporate customers use prepaid data packs for 3G and 4G services on top of their respective postpaid corporate plans. Airtel has launched its 4G LTE services in Sambalpur in Orissa, after it launched it in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela, Balasore and Brahmapur. Airtel launched 4G services in 296 towns across India in August. Airtel 4G is available to customers across mobile phones, dongles, 4G hotspots and Wi-Fi dongles in the city. Airtel launches Platinum 3G services in Indore and Haryana

Airtel is launching 4G services in Delhi and NCR this week

India’s leading private telecom operator Airtel is all set to launch 4G trials in the country’s capital city New Delhi and adjoining areas later this week. Airtel bought the spectrum from Qualcomm some time back. The 4G network is expected to go live in New Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR) in a few days.

Airtel has partnered with Nokia Networks to deploy FDD-LTE on 1800 MHz in six new (Mumbai, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab and West Bengal) circles across India, as expected. Last year Nokia Networks grabbed a 3G contract from Bharti Airtel that included India-first dual band, dual carrier 3G network implementation. Airtel launches 4G LTE services in Nagpur

Airtel has launched 4G services in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The company already offers 4G services in Pune, Maharashtra since 2012. It launched 4G services in Patiala, Punjab last week. Nagpur is the 14th city in the country to get Airtel 4G, said the company. Customers in Nagpur too can access 4G on dongles and Wi-Fi CPEs (Customer Premise Equipment/ routers). 4G on mobile is not available in the city yet.
