Nokia to bring S40 phones with Touch, QWERTY and Dual SIM

We already Nokia is planning to introduce Dual SIM phones this year as announced .Now according to a document posted on CellularMania , Nokia has not yet stalled investment in S40 and infact plans to bring major new features such as Touchscreen and QWERTY to lower price points

At MWC 2010 we bumped into folks behind Rightware Kanzi – a cross platform 3D UI platform. Here is a video of the UI in action on a Nokia N900 running on the Maemo platform.  There is even gesture detection using the front video calling camera . Watch the video to see it in action

Nokia and Intel Merge Software Platforms to launch “Meego”

Today at Mobile World Congress 2010, Nokia and Intel announced that they are merging software platforms “Moblin” and “Maemo” to create “MeeGo“, a Linux-based software platform that will support the broadest range of device segments, including pocketable mobile computers, netbooks, tablets, mediaphones, connected TVs and in-vehicle infotainment system etc.
