Bose files lawsuit against Beats over noise cancelling headphone patents

Bose has filed a lawsuit against Beats Eletronics, alleging patent infringements of its noise-canceling technology. The popular audio electronic maker has filed a lawsuit in a U.S. District Court claiming that Beats violated five different patents in the manufacture of its line of Studio noise-canceling headphones.

Court orders Motorola to stop selling devices in Germany

German court has ordered Motorola to stop smartphone sale over the infringe on an antenna design patent. The Mannheim Regional Court has ordered to cease all Moto X and Moto G sales in Germany, as the company is allegedly infringing on antenna related patents held by German firm LPKF Laser & Electronics.

Google Q1 2014 earnings reported at $15.42 billion, grow 19% YoY

Earlier today, Google revealed its results for Q1 2014 and posted revenues of $15.42 billion. Earnings per share were reported at $6.27 and this was below the estimated $6.42 per share. The company missed analyst estimates of $15.52 billion in revenue and it can be attributed to Mountain View’s recent stock split amongst other things.
