New BlackBerry Smartphone launching in India tomorrow , Torch 9860 ?

RIM is launching yet another BlackBerry smartphone in India tomorrow going by the invite we have received. Our bets are on the  Torch 9860 (BlackBerry Storm 3) which was unveiled few weeks back . The phone is expected to hit stores at around Rs.29500 within the next few days according to our sources.The 9860 is a full touch BlackBerry running the OS 7 and powered by a 1.2 GHz Processor.The Storm had a SurePress keyboard which drew a lot of criticism and the company has done away with even the Storm name and adopted the Torch branding. The Torch 9810 and Bold 9900 are already available in India.  The 9860 has already been launched in many countries in the Middle East.

Samsung Apps has received a new update for Bada phones. The new version includes improved user interface, updated purchasing options and a personalised App recommendation service. Samsung is also celebrating their 2nd birthday of Samsung Apps by offering 30 popular paid Bada apps for free. Samsung Apps is now available in 121 countries and offers 40,000 applications. Google Wallet launched on Sprint’s Nexus S 4G in USA

Google has launched their Google Wallet on the Sprint’s Nexus 4G in USA. This would let the Sprint Nexus 4G users make purchases with a simple tap using NFC (Near Field Communication) on their phone.  The Google Wallet app would be available through an over-the-air update for Sprint’s Nexus 4G devices.
