Sprint has announced that ZTE Optik would be available from February 5. The ZTE Optik has 7-inch WXGA (1280×800 pixels) touch screen display and is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor. The Supreme Court of India has cancelled 122 2G licenses issued by the Government on after 10th Jan 2008. This cancellation affects customers of Uninor,Videocon,MTS ,Loop Telecom , Etisalat , Idea Cellular, STel and Tata Docomo in 22 circles. The court order will come into effect in 4 months and you might have to use MNP to port your number to another operator who is not affected.

Samsung has just signed a joint venture with Corning to to manufacture a new range of speciality glass substrates for its OLED equipped devices.
The Sensation was HTC’s best device last year, featuring the first asynchronous dual core processor on a smartphone. Though the device was good and had a great build quality it did not sell well against the Samsung Galaxy S 2. But this does not stop them from bringing out a white version of this new device and the best part of it is that it will come with Android 4.0 out of the box.
