HTC Radar price drops to Rs. 15799

The HTC Radar has got a price cut in India, and is available for just Rs. 15,799 from online retailer Flipkart. It was launched in India last October for Rs. 23,990. This would compete with Nokia Lumia 710 that got a price cut in January and retails for Rs.15,499 and Omnia W that is also available for almost similar price, after a price cut in February. 4G LTE BlackBerry PlayBook launching in Canada first on August 9th, others countries in coming months

 

RIM (Research in Motion) has finally announced the 4G LTE BlackBerry PlayBook, after lot of rumors. Lenovo to launch ThinkPad Tablet 2 aimed at business users

Hot on the heels of the FCC listing, The Verge has managed to get its hand on marketing documents for the upcoming Windows 8 tablet. Named as the ThinkPad Tablet 2, it will be powered by the dual-core Intel Clover Trail processor.

Samsung begins mass production of 64GB embedded flash memory for mobiles devices

Samsung has announced that they have started producing ultra-fast embedded memory for smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices in 16, 32 and 64-gigabyte (GB) densities. Samsung Embedded Multimedia Card (eMMC) Pro Class 1500 delivers up to 140 MB/s (megabytes per second) sequential reading speeds and up to 50 MB/s sequential writing speeds. BlackBerry enterprise security not compromised in India says RIM

Zync Z-909 plus launched at Rs. 3,699

Zync recently announced its low cost tablet, the Z-909 plus. Coming in at just around Rs. 3700, it is one of the cheapest tablets in the market right now. The 7″ tablet is powered by a 1Ghz processor coupled with 256MB of RAM. Unfortunately the WVGA touchscreen is resistive in nature. WiFi connectivity is present and a 0.3 MP camera can be found up front.

HTC Desire VC Dual SIM (GSM + CDMA) smartphone now available in India for Rs. 20950

HTC Desire VC that was announced along with the Desire V in June is now available in India from online retailer Saholic in India. It is a Dual SIM smartphone with Dual Active feature, and supports CDMA and GSM networks on each SIM cards. The specs are similar to the Desire V including, 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 1GHZ single-core processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with HTC Sense 4.0 UI. It is  9.42 mm thick and weighs 118 g. Fujitsu, NTT DOCOMO, NEC partners to develop smartphone chips

Japan’s Fujitsu Limited, NTT DOCOMO INC., NEC Corporation and Fujitsu Semiconductor Limited have announced a joint venture to develop and sell semiconductor products with built-in modem. Lenovo ThinkPad tablet running Windows 8 shows up at FCC

Lenovo’s upcoming ThinkPad branded Windows 8 tablet just made a stop over at FCC for testing. Engadget previously got their hands on the tablet at Computex and report that the 10.1″ tablet is powered by an Intel Clover Trail CPU.
