Lenovo ThinkPad tablet running Windows 8 shows up at FCC


Lenovo’s upcoming ThinkPad branded Windows 8 tablet just made a stop over at FCC for testing. Engadget previously got their hands on the tablet at Computex and report that the 10.1″ tablet is powered by an Intel Clover Trail CPU.

The screen resolution is believed to be 1366×768 and 2-8MP cameras can be found at the front and back of the tablet. Being an x86 based Windows 8 machine, we can expect a whole array of connectivity options including fully size USB and HDMI. The new Windows Logo can be seen at the lower right corner. The tablet should be be available in retail later this year. Windows 8 will be released by Microsoft on October 26th.
