Apple has finally announced the iOS7, the most expected iOS update at the WWDC 2013. It is the successor of the iOS 6 that was released last year. The iOS 7 is the most significant iOS update since the original iPhone that brings a whole new simplistic user interface with redesigned fonts. Apple announces iTunes Radio with customized music streams, to be available later this year

At the World Web Developers Conference, Apple just announced the long rumored iTunes Radio service. To be a  part of the music player application, it will provide users access to about 200 curated stations. The service will also allow users to create custom radio stations based on music in their iTunes library. The service will learn based on your usage and will offer increasingly personalized music playlists. In addition, iTunes Radio will also let users listen to tracks from popular artists ahead of launch and will integrate with Siri. Nokia Lumia 520 doubles worldwide market share according to AdDuplex

AdDuplex chief Alan Medelevich today tweeted that the Nokia Lumia 520 has doubled its worldwide marked share over the course of a month. While the handset had a 4.44% share of the Windows Phone installed base, it means that the handset is about to touch almost 9% share. This would indicate sales to the tune of a million units. Medelevich also suggested that WP8 has finally overtaken the number of Windows Phone 7 devices out there.

Sony Xperia ZR durable phone that was announced last month is now on pre-order from online retailers Flipkart and Infibeam. It has a 4.55-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) Reality display with mobile Bravia Engine 2 and is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ 8064 processor with Adreno 320 GPU and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has IP55 and IP58 ratings for dust and water resistance. It packs a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash, Exmor RS sensor for HDR images and offers underwater image and video capture since it is water resistant up to 1.50 meters for up to 30 minutes.

Lenovo plans to launch sub-Rs.5000 smartphones in India

Lenovo has plans to launch devices priced below Rs 5,000 to India, according to a recent report from The Hindu Business Line. The report also says that Lenovo aims to sell 1 million smartphones in India this year. Lenovo entered into the smartphone market in India last year with launch of 5 Android smartphones priced between Rs. 6499 and Rs. 28499. The company launched range of smartphones, A390, A706, S820, P780, S920 and K900 last week priced between Rs. 8689 and Rs. 32999. The reason behind this new move is their shrinking PC business. Samsung has finally announced the Galaxy Ace 3, the company’s latest Android smartphone in the Galaxy series. It is the successor of the Galaxy Ace 2 that was unveiled last year.  It has a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The device would also come with LTE support in select markets that would have a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 8GB of internal memory and 1800 mAh battery. Alleged photos of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 prototype has surfaced online. Sammobile and Techtastic says that this might not be the final design of the device that is expected to be unveiled at the IFA 2013 in September. Very low quantities for R&D purposes, says Techtastic. It also adds that this phone would have a model number SM-N900, losing it’ last zero unlike the other Galaxy devices. The device was rumored to come with an unbreakable AMOLED display, but these websites doesn’t confirm any such thing.
