NVIDIA announced the Tegra Note back in September. The tablet is designed by NVIDIA and is manufactured by several partners in range of countries worldwide. NVIDIA has announced that the Tegra Note is available for pre-order in the U.S and U.K. It is manufactured by EVGA in the U.S. and ADVENT in the UK. NVIDIA has also partnered with PNY Technologies in North America, ADVENT, EVGA, Oysters and ZOTAC in Europe, Gigabyte, Shenzhen Homecare Technology and ZOTAC in Asia-Pacific and XOLO in India to sell the device. Windows Phone surges ahead while Android still dominates in Q3 2013 – IDC
Windows Phone has been moving ahead in the platform race for the couple of quarter in the year. In the first quarter of 2013, we saw the Windows Phone OS leap ahead of BlackBerry OS with 3.2% market share and in the second quarter we saw the Windows Phone OS posting the fastest growth with 3.7% market. The Q3 2013 results reveal that the the Windows Phone OS is still growing with 3.6% market share globally, primarily driven by the support of Nokia. Android still dominates the market with 81% share, with 211.6 device shipments. It has grown by 1.7% ,compared to last quarter and has increased 51.3% YoY.

Gionee GPad G3 with 5.5-inch display officially launched in India for Rs. 9999
Gionee GPad G3 went on sale online last month, now the company has officially launched the smartphone in India. It is the successor of the GPad G2 that was launched back in May and packs a 5.5-inch (854 × 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby and packs a 2250 mAh battery. Google Nexus 5 Camera Samples
Google unveiled their latest flagship smartphone – Google Nexus 5 on November 1st and the device went on sale immediately in US and other countries. For a change, the Nexus 5 was listed as coming soon in Indian Play Store right from the first day and it is expected to be available before the end of the month(Already available from other online sellers). One of the pitfalls about the Nexus phones have been their poor camera and it was very evident in the Google Nexus 4 which took below average 8MP shots. The latest Google Nexus 5 comes with a similar 8MP unit, but this time it has OIS(Optical Image Stabilization) for better low light photos and shake free videos.

Panasonic launched their Panasonic P11 smartphone sometime back and it has been getting all the attention because of the Alien ad in which the “Alien” wants the phone. The alien may want the phone, but do you? Lets find out.
The Panasonic P11 seems like a typical mid-range 5inch phone which it is, but there is a small difference at the core. Joe Belfiore, Windows Phone Manager at Microsoft to head Internet Explorer app development
Via a blog post on the official Internet Explorer Blog, Dean Hachamovitch who previously headed Internet Explorer development detailed that he will be switching over to a new team at Microsoft. What is even more interesting is that Joe Belfiore will now be taking over some of the responsibilities previously handled by Dean. Joe Belfiore who is well known for his work on Windows Phone will be leading a team focussed on the app side of Internet Explorer as well as the user experience development. Vine for Windows Phone 8 now available for download
Vine, the highly popular video-based social network, finally has made available its app for the Windows Phone platform. Announced back at the Build conference, the app was shown off recently at the Lumia 1520 and 2520 launch event by Nokia, and it was promised that the app will be arriving soon to the platform, someday. Well, that day is today, and the app is finally live on the Windows Phone Store.

Oppo, one of the few Chinese companies that value design, had announced their first camera-centric flagship device Oppo N1 sometime back in September. Oppo N1 brings two innovations along with it – the swiveling camera on the top and OTouch rear sensor. The Oppo N1 is also the first phablet from the Chinese company with a huge 5.9 inch screen. ANS Navigator App now available on Google Play Store
ANS and NNG, providers of GPS Navigation Hardware have launched the new ANS Navigator application for Android phones. The turn by turn navigation application that was previously available only for iOS devices is now on the Play Store and comes with mapping data for India that is as recent as Q2 2013.
