For the festive season Xiaomi offered 1,50,000 Redmi 1S smartphones for the Indian customers on October 6th, which took several hours or more than half a day to sell out. Samsung has launched the Gear S running Tizen-based wearable OS. It was unveiled back in August and has a built-in SIM card slot that lets you independently make and receive calls, without connecting to a device and also offers 3G support. You can also get calls forwarded from your smartphone if it’s connected. Samsung has launched the Galaxy Note 4, the company’s latest flagship Note series smartphone in India as expected. It was unveiled at IFA last month and packs a 5.7-inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) QHD Super AMOLED display, powered by a 2.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor with Adreno 420 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with new Samsung UI. Apple unveiled the iPhone 6 last month with 4.7 inch display in 16GB, 64GB and 128GB variants.
