Google announced Android 5.0 Lollipop two days back and said that it will begin to roll out “in coming weeks”. However, a new report is now claiming that the Lollipop update will roll out to Nexus 7 (2012), Nexus 7 (2013) and Nexus 10 on November 3.
Xolo One with 4.5-inch display, Android 4.4 launched for Rs. 6599
Xolo just launched the Xolo One, the company’s latest budget smartphone. Even though this is called Xolo One, this is not an Android One smartphone created in partnership with Google. It has a 4.5-inch FWVGA display based on one-glass-solution technology, powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor with Mali 400 MP2 processor and runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat). HP shutting down webOS and App Catalog on January 15, 2015

Samsung unveils 64 bit Exynos 7 Octa Core chip
Samsung has announced the launch of Exynos 7 Octa core chip. The second mobile SoC from the company features four Cortex-A57 cores for handling heavy-duty processing and four lower-power Cortex-A53 cores for increased energy efficiency when tackling light loads.

Google has updated its keyboard app to version 3.2 that adds several languages and brings fixes. It adds 8 additional languages including, Bengali (India), Hindi (Compact), Kannada (India), Malayalam (India), Marathi (India), Tamil (India), Tamil (Singapore), and Telugu (India). The brings new organization for the settings screen that has a separate menu for languages, appearance and layout, multilingual options and more. Twitter rolls out Audio Cards, teams up with SoundCloud and iTunes

Apple introduced the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3, the next-generation iPad Air models at an event in the U.S few hours back. Apple has also announced the pricing for these models in India. The iPad Air 2 has the same 9.7-inch display but it has a Antireflective glass, powered by A8 chip with 2nd gen 64-bit architecture and M8 motion coprocessor, Touch ID fingerprint sensor and is just 6.1mm thick. It also has a new 8 MP iSight 1080p camera. The iPad mini 3 just has a new Touch ID fingerprint sensor and other specs remain the same.

Apple just unveiled the iPad mini 3 with Retina iPad along with the iPad Air 2 as expected.It has the same 7.9 inch Retina Display with 2048×1536 resolution seen on last year’s iPad mini with Retina Display and the same Apple A7 processor with M7 motion co-processor, but this has a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, similar to the iPad Air 2. Apple iPad Air 2 with A8X processor, Touch ID and 6.1mm body announced, starts at $499
Apple just announced the iPad Air 2, the second generation iPad Air at an event. It has an improved 9.7-inch Retina display with anti-reflective coating on the glass, reducing reflections by 56%, powered by Apple A8X, a new chip that is based on 2nd generation 64-bit architecture. It has 3 billion transistors compared to 1 billion on the A7. The CPU is 12 times faster than the first iPad and the GPU is 180 times faster. It has M8 co-processor, similar to iPhone 6.
iOS 8.1 with Apple Pay, iCloud Photo Library public beta available on October 20
At the Apple event today, Apple SVP of Software Craig Federighi announced that iOS 8.1 update would roll out for iOS devices soon.
