Google has started rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop over-the-air(OTA) update for Nexus 5, WiFi variants of both Nexus 7 2012 and Nexus 7 2013 and Nexus 10. Update for the 3G/LTE versions of the Nexus 7 2012 and 2013 and Nexus 4 haven’t started yet. The Nexus 6 and the Nexus 9 have received a minor update to address bugs. Press shots of the Acer Iconia Tab 7 A1-724, the company’s upcoming tablet with voice calling capabilities surfaced last month. Now the tablet has surfaced on GFXBench database that reveals the specifications of the tablet. According to the listing, the tablet has a 7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 64-bit SoC with Adreno 306 GPU and Android 4.4.4 (KitKat). Samsung and SAP team up for Enterprise Wearable Apps
Samsung has announced that it is collaborating with SAP to create enterprise mobility apps for mobile devices and wearables. The two companies said they will collaborate to “build on the popularity and reach of Samsung’s mobile innovations and the SAP Mobil Platform,” according to a joint statement from the companies.

Panasonic Eluga S with 5-inch HD display, Octa-Core processor launched for Rs. 11190
Panasonic has launched Eluga S, the company’s latest smartphone in the Eluga series. It has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, powered by a 1.4 GHz True Octa-Core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a new BLINK PLAY features that lets users capture selfies or groupies with the front-facing camera by just blinking your eyes to capture the image on an automatic three-second countdown.
Samsung Gear S Unboxing
Samsung launched Gear S (SM-R750), the company’s first smartwatch based on Tizen Wearable platform in India priced at Rs. 27,900. It has SIM support and lets you make or receive calls directly without connecting it to a smartphone. You can even connect it to a smartphone to receive notifications from it. Yahoo acquires video ad platform BrightRoll for $640M
Yahoo has scooped up video ad platform BrightRoll for $640M in cash. BrightRoll will continue to operate independently “with Yahoo’s additional investment and global support.” The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2015.
