ZTE has officially announced Axon Pro, the company’s flagship smartphone for the U.S. market, as it promised. It packs a 5.5-inch Quad HD CGS (Continuous Grain Silicon) screen, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 64-bit SoC and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a secondary 2-megapixel rear camera for quick auto focus and depth sensing. Microsoft Universal Foldable Keyboard goes on sale in the US for $99.95

Microsoft introduced a Foldable Bluetooth Keyboard at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 in Barcelona back in March. Today the company has announced that it is now available at the Microsoft Store and various other retailers in the US for $99.95. The universal keyboard has a sleek design and connects to Windows (8,8.1, 10), Windows Phone 8.1, iOS 7 or later and Android 4.3 or later using Bluetooth 4.0. You can switch between OS’s just by pressing the “OS” key.

It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop). It has a fingerprint sensor on the home button. OnePlus One 16GB Unboxed units to go on sale next week on Overcart for Rs. 12999

Overcart sold OnePlus One 64GB refurbished units back in May for Rs. 16,999. Today it has announced that it will be selling unboxed units of 16GB Silk White OnePlus One next week for Rs. 12999. It will be covered under a six-month manufacturer warranty from OnePlus, said the company.  A new 16GB OnePlus One unit costs Rs. 18,998, but it is currently out of stock on Amazon.in and Flipkart.

Lava Iris X5 4G with 2GB RAM shows up in benchmarks, could be Android One smartphone

Lava Iris X5 4G has surfaced in GFXBench (via) benchmark listing. This is likely to be the upcoming Android One smartphone from Lava that was expected to launch today according to a ET report. Looks like the launch is not happening today and got postponed. Coming to the listing, it reveals 2GB RAM and a MediaTek SoC that coincides with the earlier report. Even though it shows it has a 4.6-inch display, it could feature a 5-inch display as reported earlier.

Snapchat’s latest update focuses more on Discover

Snapchat is further improving its Discover feature by bringing it directly to your main feed. The Discover section which features promoted content from media partners is now displayed at the top of each user’s “Stories” list.

Prior to this update, users had to swipe to access the Discover section. After checking out the content from partners like CNN, People, ESPN, Comedy Central and others users will now see the Stories list that are live around the world followed by recent updates from friends that you follow.  The update is aimed at bringing more views for the Discover section that was launched in January earlier this year. iOS app for Snapchat has already received this update and is expected to hit Android soon.

In May, Snapchat updated its mobile apps on Android and iOS with the ability to share content easily with Discover. The Discover section brings news and editorial platform that delivers daily stories and videos from more than 10 media partners.
