Idea launches 4G LTE services across 39 towns in Karnataka including Bengaluru

Idea Cellular has launched its 4G LTE services across 39 towns, including Bengaluru in Karnataka, after it launched 4G services across five states in South India – Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana last month. Earlier this month It launched 4G services in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana and Punjab regions. Oppo to invest Rs 100 cr to start manufacturing unit in India by August 2016

Oppo is the latest entrant in the long list of international smartphone makers to join the ‘Make in India’ initiative. The Chinese smartphone maker has announced that it will invest Rs 100 Cr to kick start its own manufacturing facility in India by August this year.

Lenovo launched the Vibe X3, it’s flagship smartphone earlier this week at Rs. 19,999 exclusively on Amazon.in.. We already brought you the unboxing and photo gallery of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks. It is powered by a Hexa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit 20nm processor that has two bigger ARM Cortex A57 cores clocked at 1.82GHz per core and four smaller ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.44GHz per core with 600 MHz Adreno 418 GPU. It has 3GB of RAM, 5.5-inch 1080p display and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) with Vibe UI on top. Check out the synthetic benchmark scores.

Lenovo launched the Vibe K4 Note smartphone in India at Rs. 11,999 recently. We already brought you the unboxingteardownbenchmarks and the battery life test results, here we have the camera samples from the smartphone. Microsoft Surface revenue up 29%, phone revenue declined 49% in Q2 FY 2016

Microsoft has announced earnings for Q2 2016 where it reported $25.7 billion in revenue and $6.3 billion in net income. It looks like Surface is finally doing the job for Microsoft, as it recorded $1.35 billion in revenue, up from $672 million in previous quarter and up from $1.1 billion year-over-year.

OnePlus 2 16GB version finally launched in India for Rs. 22999

OnePlus introduced its flagship OnePlus 2 smartphone back in July last year. The 64GB variant with 4GB of RAM went on sale in August for Rs. 24,999, and the company said that the 16GB variant with 3GB of RAM will be available in late 2015, but it didn’t happen. Now it has finally launched the 16GB variant in India. Apart from storage and RAM, other specifications are similar, including a 5.5-inch 1080 pixelsp display, Snapdragon 810 processor, Oxygen OS based on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), fingerprint scanner, 13-megapixel rear camera with Laser Auto focus, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. LG White Card surfaces online – Required for LG Pay service
