It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) with quick focus in just 0.1 seconds and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. YU just launched YUNICORN, it’s latest smartphone, as it had promised earlier this month. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display with ultra-thin bezels, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), which the company is calling Android on steroids since it has several features, including monochrome mode. Samsung has announced that it has begun mass production of industry’s first NVMe PCIe solid state drive (SSD) for next-generation PCs and ultra-slim notebook PCs. “Configuring the PM971-NVMe SSD in a single BGA package was enabled by combining 16 of Samsung’s 48-layer 256-gigabit (Gb) V-NAND flash chips, one 20-nanometer 4Gb LPDDR4 mobile DRAM chip and a high-performance Samsung controller,” said Samsung. Apple’s proposal to sell refurbished iPhones in India officially rejected by the Commerce Ministry

The Indian Government has officially rejected Apple’s proposal to sell refurbished iPhones in India, as per a latest PTI report. A report earlier this month had cited a telecom ministry official over the rejection of Apple’s plan on refurbished phones. However, this time the Commerce Ministery has revealed that it is not in favour of Apple’s plans.

Xiaomi Mi 5 and Redmi Note 3 will go on open sale in India from June 1

Xiaomi launched the Mi 5 smartphone in India for Rs. 24,999 back in March, which went on sale through flash sale starting from April 6th. Today the company has announced that the phone will be available through open sale starting from June 1st starting from 10AM through the Mi India website. Both the variants of the Redmi Note 3 will also go on open sale in India through Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal at the same time.
