Jio Preview offer is now officially available for all Gionee, Karbon, Lava and Xolo 4G devices. This lets users enjoy free 90 days of unlimited data, calls and messaging for 90 days. Yesterday it expanded to YU, Micromax, TCL and Alcatel 4G devices, last week it was expanded to Samsung and LG 4G smartphones, earlier this week it was expanded to ASUS and Panasonic devices. Infocus has launched Bingo 50+, it’s latest budget 4G smartphone in the Bingo series and the successor of Bingo 50 that was launched earlier this year. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6735 processor, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with InLife UI 2.0 and a 8-megapixel auto focus front-facing camera, similar to the Bingo 50, but his has a larger 5.5-inch HD display and has a 13-megapixel rear camera. Lenovo is all set to introduce new devices at the IFA next week. Now Yoga Tab 3 Plus 10 has surfaced ahead of the event. It will have a 10-inch Quad HD screen and will be powered by Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 processor. It also has a unique convertible design, including Hang mode, similar to other Yoga tablets. The mobile handset market made a healthy comeback in Q2 2016 thanks to upward movements in feature phones as well as smartphones, according to CMR’s India Monthly Mobile Handset Review.

Google launched its Duo video calling app for Android and iOS devices last week, after announcing it at the Google I/O back in May. Today the company’s CEO Sundar Pichai said that the Duo app for Android has crossed 5 million downloads in a week, even though the Play Store shows that the installs are between 1 million and 5 million. Xiaomi just announced Redmi Note 4, the company’s latest smartphone in the Redmi series at an event in China. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 SoC and runs on MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) to focus in just 0.3 seconds, comes with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
