At an event in Delhi, Coolpad today announced two new devices as part of their Note & Mega series. In our previous reviews of the Coolpad Note 3 and Note 3 Lite, we found the devices to offer a solid experience with design being a relative shortcoming. This time around, it seems that Coolpad has worked to fix just that on the Note 3s. Coolpad Mega 3 with 5.5-inch HD display, Triple SIM support, 4G VoLTE launched for Rs. 6999

Coolpad has launched Mega 3, the company’s latest budget 4G smartphone with triple SIM support in India, as it had promised. It has a 5.5-inch HD display with 73.5% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS with CoolUI on top. Android 7.0 Nougat starts rolling out for Sony Xperia X Performance and Xperia XZ

[UPDATE] – Xperia XZ has also started receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update. Sony has started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update for Xperia X Performance. The stable build comes soon after the update was available in beta earlier this month.

Meizu M3X with 5.5-inch 1080p display, Helio P20, 4GB RAM, fingerprint sensor announced

Meizu just announced M3X, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone at an event in China. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p Sharp TDDI LCD 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P20 16nm processor, making it the first smartphone with with the processor. It runs on Flyme OS based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and will get the Flyme OS 6 update soon. Meizu today introduced PRO 6 Plus, its latest flagship smartphone and the successor of PRO 6 that was introduced earlier this year. It has a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED always-on display with 0.53mm narrow bezels, 3D press that perceives different levels of pressure on the screen, is powered by an Octa-Core Samsung Exynos 8890 SoC, runs Flyme OS based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, pixel size of 1.25μm, four-axis optical image stabilization, dual-tone 10-LED ring flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) and laser auto focus.
